Hello pet lovers! I am a wife, an animal mom to 4 great rescue dogs and 3 cats, and a human mom to a 9 year old and 6 year old. I grew up caring for all kinds of animals-- dogs, cats, reptiles, horses, and chickens. My kids love pets and have learned at an early age to respect and love animals just as much as I do. I enjoy spending my day with pets and always give them the best care possible. I will treat your pets as my own making sure they are well taken care of and given LOTS of love! I'm an experienced pet sitter with years of experience working with animals. I worked for 5 years at a boarding kennel and I’ve been pet sitting since 2014. I have also spent time volunteering with the Houston SPCA. As a pet-parent myself, I know how stressful leaving your babies can be especially when they need specialized care. I want you and your pet to feel safe and comfortable while you are away! I have experience working with special needs dogs and cats, including pets with diabetes needing insulin injections, blind and deaf pets, elderly cats and dogs, paralyzed cats and dogs, and administering chemotherapy treatments to cats and dogs. I also have experience caring for small animals, birds, and reptiles. I had the great opportunity to pet sit for an individual who ran a reptile rescue and learned a lot from her. She also had a rescued owl I absolutely fell in love with! When boarding in our home I'm the main caretaker but my husband is glad to help out as well. While I’m in your home I'd be glad to perform any other tasks around the home: watering plants, cleaning up after pets, taking out the trash, cycling lights, and changing window coverings. Drop-ins and walks farther than 10 miles from my home include an extra charge for travel.

Schedule
We are a homeschooling family so we’re home all the time. My husband works nights and we have a rotating schedule so we’re home for the pets we keep at our house.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a big backyard that is fully fenced and secure. Pets get free run of the house, so all pets must be animal friendly and people friendly. We only use crates at night if that’s the way the pets like to sleep. We have an extra room that we use for cats so they have a safe and quiet environment away from unfamiliar animals.

We will walk on our street, at the parks, and on trails near the house, if requested. They will gets lots of playtime and love!
