Availability
As a college student, I keep a flexible routine that makes pet care easy to fit into my week. I’m available most days between and after classes, and I’m free most Friday nights for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. I do work part-time on weekends, but I’m happy to coordinate around that schedule to make sure your pets get the care and attention they need!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their usual routine so they feel safe and happy—feeding, walks, playtime, or just extra cuddles if that’s what they love. I also make sure dogs get plenty of exercise and fresh air, whether that’s walks by the beaches of Evanston, jogs through the neighborhood, or playtime at nearby parks and trails. If your pup needs medications, baths, or extra attention, I handle that with care too. My goal is to keep tails wagging and give you peace of mind while you’re away.

Before caring for your pet, I always like to know: Special needs or health considerations – including dietary restrictions, allergies, or medications. Unique behaviors – how they react in public spaces (other dogs, children, bikes, etc.), or if there are areas/environments they’re uncomfortable with. Daily routines– preferred walk times, potty schedules, or bedtime habits. Playstyle & toy preferences – favorite games, comfort toys, or activities they love most. Treats & rewards – any go-to treats or alternatives for positive reinforcement. This helps me tailor care to your pet’s needs so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
A typical day
A day with me is all about keeping your pet happy, active, and comfortable! We’ll start with a nice walk to stretch their legs and get some fresh air—whether that’s a stroll by the Evanston lakefront, a jog on a trail, or exploring a nearby park. Playtime is always on the schedule too—fetch, tug-of-war, or whatever your pet enjoys most. I love mixing in mental stimulation as well, like puzzle toys, training refreshers, or simple games that keep them engaged. Of course, there’s plenty of downtime for snuggles, belly rubs, and naps so your pet feels loved and relaxed. If your dog loves the outdoors, I’ll make sure they get extra exercise and adventures; if they prefer cozy indoor time, we’ll enjoy cuddles and quiet play. My goal is to give them the balance of fun, exercise, and care that makes them feel right at home while you’re away.

I’ve grown up with dogs my entire 19 years of life, so caring for them feels second nature to me. I’ve looked after neighbors’ and friends’ dogs during vacations and business trips, including pups who need a little extra attention—whether that’s giving medications, bath time, or making sure they get plenty of play and nap breaks. I love meeting dogs where they’re at, whether they’re full of energy or need gentle, attentive care.

Sapphire was terrific! She provided detailed updates including pictures and went above and beyond caring for both our doggos and our house. We will definitely ask her to come again.
Sapphire is just absolutely amazing!! She’s punctual, takes care of details, and attentive. I love when she sits for my cat Rizzo cause she sends me just the cutest photos of him in his various hiding spots. She shows not only care for animals but also genuine compassion so I always feel comfortable leaving my Rizzo under her watchful eye. She’s over all fantastic and has pulled through on some of the most random drop-in visits, I can’t not recommend her!
Always on time and sends lots of pictures. Super dependable and easy to communicate with. She is an excellent help. She has never let me down.
