Hi! My name is Saoirse (pron. SEER-sha). I am a graduate of Binghamton University with a B.Sc in biology. I have worked with animals all my life, and in my final two years of college, worked with reactive/sick dogs and cats in a shelter upstate. I am highly experienced and have in-depth knowledge of animal behavior, signs/symptoms of illness, physiology and care of dogs, cats, horses, most reptiles (please ask), small mammals, and birds. Please don’t ask me to care for fish- I’ve tried, it doesn’t end well. No, I don’t know why. Your furry, scaly, or hairy friend will be treated like family in my care. I use positive reinforcement and minimal aversive methods to work with animals of all kinds and I have a lot of love to give them! Shoot me a message- I promise I won’t bite!

I am reactive dog friendly! Overall, I prefer work with positive reinforcement and classical conditioning. I love to help train pups with basic commands! I believe there is no such thing as a “bad dog” or other animal- everyone deserves a chance. Minimally aversive methods are my preference, but your animal is yours- talk to me! You know best! You can trust me to work with both you and your pet, regardless of any issues that may arise, to the best of my ability. I also have knowledge of signs of illness and injury, so if anything happens, you can trust me to let you know.

Schedule
I have a reliable car and am able to drive to client homes. I work during the week, so weekends and OCCASIONAL midweek appts can be made.
