I work 50% from home (also my wife), we do several active pauses and go outside four times per day during the week. During the weekend, we generally go for a long walk around the house where we are surrounded by great spaces to walk with the dogs.

A typical day
I like to play with the dogs using balls or just running. Additionally, I tried to challenge them in order to search for hidden snacks in the house. In the surroundings of my house, there is a lot space to walk.

I have loved dogs since I was a child, and I truly enjoy spending time with them, playing with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. At our home, dogs are not just guests — they are basically the owners of the house. We live in a house with a fenced garden, which they can access often during the day for fresh air, sniffing inspections, and important dog business. I have experience taking care of dogs from family, friends, neighbors, and through Rover. I always try to adapt to each dog’s personality, whether they are playful, cuddly, shy, energetic, or professional nap experts. My German is not perfect yet, but my wife speaks German, so communication is always possible. And luckily, dogs usually understand the most important international languages: kindness, walks, treats, and belly rubs.

Ich kann Santiago nur empfehlen. Mein Hund hat sich super wohl gefühlt und schon nach kurzer Zeit die Trennung „überstanden“. Santiago schickt regelmäßige Updates und ich habe mir keine Sorgen machen müssen. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen.
