Little monster paws is a safe, fun, and professional pet care provider for any pups looking to socialize, cuddle or just have some quiet time. I specialize in elderly, senior, disabled, timid or social dogs who just want to play but references are always welcome. Our meet and greet & trial day will confirm if our space is perfect for your pup! My name is Sandy, I’m not just a certified dog groomer with over 9 years of experience in pet care, also hold a PhD in Dog Cuddles & tail wags ! 😁 I've dedicated my life to working with pups of all shapes, sizes, and sass levels, and now I'm excited to bring ‘Little Monster Paws’ to you and your best friend ! Whether your pup needs a walk, a cuddle, or just someone to remind them they’re the best boy/girl in the world, I’m your girl. We accept 3 dogs maximum at a time, but only if they are already a part of our pack family so theyll already know each other. For all new pups, I make sure to only have them and introduce them to my dogs through a side gate/fence so they can sniff each other. Then, the next day I will let them say hi and maybe play under supervision. We have a big backyard that is completely fenced, I have two XL kennels and one medium kennel for dogs who need their own privacy and I leave it open for them to come in and out as they please, there are also plenty of blankets provided. Your pup will have the freedom to roam inside the house, relax on the couch, on my bed, or enjoy the sun outside. I am always home and available to reach by phone or message here on Rover. Photos and videos of your pup are always provided daily and I offer pick up and drop off for $20 if you are outside of San Jose and 15$ roundtrip if your in San Jose. All dogs are fed separately and there are plenty of dog bowls and beds to go around, please bring your pets favorite blanket or toy so they can feel more at home. I also offer a complimentary spa day with a bandana included for guests staying 5+ days, or after your pup’s 5th walk, because even dogs deserve a little pampering. Reliable, professional, and excellent communicator. Sandy helped take care of my 2 cats while I was on vacation via drop-in visits. She went above and beyond, taking care of my cats, keeping them company, and helped water my plants. Sandy even came back a second day to fill my cats' food bowl when the initial bag of food ran out. Schedule
I have three pets of my own, a blind 12 yr old cocker spaniel, a 3 yr old Golden Retriever and a cat who has his own room and catio so he doesn’t meet the dogs. My cocker spaniel is blind and very elderly, therefore caring for handicapped dogs is almost my specialty at this point. Apart from working with dogs and cats in veterinary hospitals and grooming salon in the past I fit pet care into my daily routine with my own babies. I’ve been pet sitting for 5 years now so most of the pups who come over are more like family and they get excited when they’re around the corner getting dropped off so we love being their home away from home 💕

Safety, trust & environment
I Make sure there is plenty of fresh water, a comfy bed and always provide lots of love and attention so they feel happy and comfty. They get 1-2 walks per day and we have a big backyard they can play in and explore so I like to let them do that. They like it since we have many plants and trees for them to smell. At the end of their walks we clean their feet and get them nice and comfty wherever they like to be.
Pets
A typical day
Walking your pup and providing other forms of exercise like fetch or playing games is always fun. I have a big basket full of toys and a huge 3gal water bowl for them. For pups who like to play together I always make sure they are supervised in the backyard. If they require more exercise we can go for a hike instead! For bigger, more energetic dogs I offer runs instead of walks. This way they can let out all of their energy with me and come back ready for cuddles with you ! During the summer I have a doggy pool I like to fill up and I also have a splash pad !
