I am retired, therefore, my daily schedule is open most of the time to care for your pet(s). Occasionally, I may have an appt, but I will disclose that prior to accepting a pet sitting request.

I spend the night at my clients homes. Most everyone who has a pet think of them as their child(furbaby), and no one I know would leave their child home alone. Alot of pets experience separation anxiety when their owners leave for an extended period. I understand this and give your pet lots of TLC. Sometimes the pet wants nothing more than to sit next to someone to help ease their anxiety.

1. Is the dog or cat aggressive or shy? 2. I would need to know the name, address and phone number of your pets veterinarian, 3. also the address and phone number of the nearest emergency animal hospital just in case something happens. 4 The phone number where you can be reached at in case of an emergency. 5. If any pet is on medication(i will give oral meds but not needles)
A typical day
This all depends what the owners and pets like to do for play time. Some dogs just love to run, so I will play with them in the yard, some other dogs enjoy going to the neighborhood dog park and hang out with their buddies. Some prefer to stay indoors and just throw their fav toy around or relax on a couch. It all depends on what the pet is used to doing.

Up until about 7 years ago, I had a small side business of pet sitting for my co workers at their houses. I have pet sat for dogs as big as Great Danes and golden retrievers and as small as a toy Yorkshire terriers. Also, lots of cats, birds, fish, and a guinea pig(lol). I also include walking your dogs if wanted, watering indoor and outdoor plants, picking up do do(includes litter boxes),and picking up your mail/newspapers. Also, I will administer medications as long as its not with a needle. And of course, LOTS of playing ball, brushing and hugging. I will consider clients further than 5 miles away on a case by case basis. I am now retired and have alot more free time to help others by taking care of their pets.

We have had Sandra watch our dogs multiple times now and she is always so great with them and keeps me updated on everything going on! It is very much appreciated to have a sitter that we can trust with our 3 dogs (and bearded dragon!)

Sandra goes above and beyond in taking wonderful care of our two dogs, plus being responsible and willing to take care of household items like watering and handline items we have scheduled. Most importantly she is proactive in her care. While we were away there was a fire close-by and she monitored it constantly and was prepared to evacuate our pets with all their food, beds, and necessities if it became necessary. She communicated with us daily and we were relieved she was providing such loving and conscientious care.
