Your Dog’s Second Home
We have a very friendly 4 year old Golden Retriever, Hugo, who absolutely loves having other dogs around. He is sociable, gentle, and enjoys making new friends, so visiting dogs quickly feel at home. As a family, we love dogs and regularly look after friends’ dogs while they are away, giving us experience caring for different breeds, personalities, and routines. We also have two children who have grown up around dogs and are gentle and respectful with them. I work from home, which means your dog will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention throughout the day. We understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, loved, and comfortable, and we treat every dog as if they were part of our own family. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply sticking to their usual routine, we make sure your dog receives the care, attention, and affection they deserve throughout their stay.

He is treated as one of the family, gets multiple walks daily and loves playing with Hugo, the most beautiful golden retriever. Schedule
I work from home in Southbourne, so I have plenty of time to give dogs the attention, company, and care they need throughout the day. We’re just a 10-minute walk from the beach and only a couple of minutes from Seafield Gardens, giving us lots of great options for walks and play. Our daily routine with our Golden Retriever, Hugo, starts with a morning walk or run of around 30 minutes to an hour. At lunchtime, we head out for another 30-minute walk, followed by an hour-long afternoon walk or play session. Depending on the weather and your dog’s preferences, we often visit the beach or the river, or enjoy games together on our local walks. At home, we have a large, secure garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air and explore throughout the day. Because I work from home, there are plenty of opportunities for toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles, and companionship, so visiting dogs are rarely without company. I will tailor walks, exercise, and downtime to suit your dog’s age, energy level, and routine, helping them feel relaxed, happy, and right at home.

Your dog’s safety, happiness, and wellbeing will always be my priority. I provide a calm, loving family environment where dogs receive plenty of individual attention and care. I only look after a small number of dogs at a time (a maximum of two additional dogs), so I can make sure every dog gets the attention, supervision, and affection they deserve. Before your dog’s stay, I will take the time to learn about their routine, personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special requirements to help them feel comfortable and settled. Our home is a safe, family environment with a large, secure garden where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time throughout the day. As I work from home, dogs have plenty of company, regular toilet breaks, playtime, and cuddles, and they are not left alone for long periods. I will always follow your instructions regarding food, walks, medication if needed, and any routines your dog is used to. Whether they enjoy beach walks, park adventures, playing with Hugo, or relaxing at home, I will make sure they feel safe, happy, and part of the family during their stay.
