Information Sandra & San L. would like to know about your pet

We prefer to follow the routine your doggo is accustomed to as closely as possible. So please let us know ahead of time: Most important: - allergies or sensitivities - any meds your pet is taking (and the best time and method to deliver them!) Note: If your dog is diabetic or has any other special needs, please tell us EXACTLY the schedule you follow so as not to disrupt their levels or the rhythm you have established! Important: - Food: the quantity, preparation, and timing. And any habits around eating that we should know about. Also: do you add water to the food? - Treats: is it ok to give your pup treats? If so, which ones? - Commands/tricks: What commands/tricks do they know? What language? (we can handle non-English commands!) Helpful: - Any triggers, likes/dislikes, pet pet peeves (see what I did there?!), favorite spots to be rubbed, etc. - favorite toys, favorite treats, items from home that comfort them. - Dental care routine - Nicknames you call them

A typical day

Mornings begin with a walk around the neighborhood. Sometimes we stop in to the vet to say hi! After doggie breakfast, there may be a quick romp around the yard, and then the dogs snuggle up in cozy dog beds under my desk while I work. Potty/play breaks in the yard every hour throughout the day, with a longer play break midday involving whatever strikes your dog's fancy that moment: fetch, tug-of-war, chasing squirrels... or just chilling. A few more hours of work and snuggle time in the afternoon with hourly play/potty breaks, then another long play session in the yard and/or a walk. This is followed by doggie dinner, snuggling on the couch, then bedtime wherever they feel most comfortable: dog bed, the crate, or human bed!

Cuddles, Safe Yard, & Zoomies!

Pet care experience

I work from home and have been around dogs my entire life. Our dogs are like children to us. Now, as we work from home and have a big yard, we have the ideal setup for happy, safe dogs—and want to share it with your fur baby! - We’ve raised our 3-year-old mini poodle to be a happy, gentle and well-rounded pup. She loves to play and cuddle, and gets along very well with other dogs and the occasional cat! - Our home is very loving and safe. Someone is always around to give cuddles and love, plenty of cozy places to hang out, and hazards are always out of reach. - We have a fully fenced, big backyard with tennis balls and frisbees where your beloved fur baby can get out all their zoomies frequently and safely. It's also covered in shade, so don't worry about hot summer days! - We don't anticipate anything happening, but just in case, rest assured because our home is only *one block* away from an excellent animal hospital! - We’ll do our best to make sure that your little buddy will feel loved and at home here, getting the same level of care and cuddles you like to provide to them. - We’ve had senior dogs and a dog with diabetes, so we are very careful and will always give attention to detail to adapt to their needs, whether it be diet, exercise, attention, or anything else. - We will keep you updated with photos and videos so you know they’re safe and having a good time. - ¡Se habla español! Si tu perrito se siente más cómodo que le hable en español, solo díganos cuáles comandos utilizan. It’s hard to find someone to trust with your pet; we have found this out the hard way. So I hope our home can become a place you can rely on and feel safe leaving your little bundle. Note: Because we want everyone to have a good, safe time, it’s our policy to always do a meet-and-greet for all new clients to make sure our dog and yours get along well!

Sandra was amazing with Bruno! She took the time to work with him before their walk, gave me a detailed update, and made sure he was comfortable the entire time. I really appreciate how patient, caring, and communicative she is. Highly recommend!

Sandra and San were absolutely exceptional with our dog, Luna. From the moment we met them, it was clear they genuinely care about the animals they look after. They went above and beyond in every aspect of Luna’s care. Their attention to safety and protection gave us complete peace of mind, and they took the time to learn every detail of her routine—from her meal schedule to her individual needs and preferences. They even asked for our veterinarian’s name and contact information in advance, which showed how prepared and responsible they are in case of an emergency. Throughout Luna’s stay, we knew she was in loving, capable hands. The level of care, professionalism, and genuine affection they showed her exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn’t recommend Sandra and San more highly. If you’re looking for people who will care for your dog as if they were their own, look no further. Thank you both for taking such wonderful care of Luna—we will absolutely be booking with you again!!

We left our little girl Violet, a very loved 5 yo Lhasa Apso, in the care of Sandra and San this past weekend. From the moment Sandra and I met, I could see how loving and caring she was for her own adorable pup, Penny. We did a meet and greet and Violet and Penny got along beautifully! We knew Violet would be in good hands. Throughout the weekend, we received pictures and we could see just how comfortable and happy Violet was! When it was pickup time, all her belongings were together and packed for home. We felt comfortable, confident and excited to find a place we can trust for Violet when she can’t be with us! We highly recommend Sandra and San! Your pups will thank you for it too!
