Pet care experience
Next to a park and we love walking
We have had Springer Spaniels and a cockapoo from puppy. Our Springers lived until 16. We still have our cockapoo. We love walking and finding swimming holes on the Itchen. We have a park right next door and a big garden for the dogs to explore. We take our Charlie everywhere with us. We have also had our daughter’s miniature dachshund live with us for a year with our Springers. Both my husband and I work full time from home. We take lots of breaks to walk our own dog and do a lunchtime walk to get exercise. On the weekends we go for longer excursions on the South Downs and the beach. We have a fenced large garden and our own 9 year old cockapoo who is very well behaved and active. We can accommodate a crate or have the dog sleep in our bedroom with Charlie on their dog bed. We only accept fully vaccinated dogs so please provide a copy of your vaccination card when booking.

A wonderful experience for our dog by a caring, very professional family who give updates and are committed to keeping our pet safe and secure . My dog thoroughly enjoys his stay with them. He enjoys a variety of activities and the company of the house dog who is so friendly. I will always use Sandra if she is available.

Really appreciativwe of Sandra looking after our daughters dog Barney. She was getting married and Sandra even came and picked him up frpm the venue (he was the ring bearer) and really after him so well overnight. Will use again.
Sandra was so accommodating at short notice. Bentley had a fabulous time and I received a lovely photo of Bentley having a super time. Would definitely recommend.
Doggie heaven, large house with friendly people and dog, huge garden and park for walks right next door. Took our Jack Russell in for the day at short notice and didn’t mind a late pickup.
Sandra is great, best doggie care Ella has ever had. She always comes back happy and calm from her stay with Sandra. And when I drop her off at hers she can’t wait to get in!! Thanks Sandra for being so wonderful with Ella. I absolutely recommend her

Schedule
I work from home and have plenty of flexibility to take play breaks and a long lunchtime walk. Weekends are for real excursions as we love to explore the local countryside and markets.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fully fenced garden and are adjacent to the park. We will follow your guidance on walking in or off lead. Charlie loves to share his space and play if others want to. We supervise feeding time. Everyone sleeps in our room at night on their own bed. The day starts around 7am and we tend to do a last outdoor break around 11pm.
Pets
A typical day
We start off with an early morning walk and play in the park next door. We go out again at lunch time and in the afternoon. We go for a long evening walk and play. We have fun breaks in the garden playing fetch or chase. If the weather is hot we can take them swimming in the Itchen.
