I have limited availability until October, however please contact me with any enquires as my availability will depend on your location. I have owned cats for 40 years and currently 7 own me, Loras & Renly (names from Game of Thrones), 2 ginger part bengal brothers and Milo the tabby and white who was a stray. 4 have come from Spain, Tintin with 3 legs and 1 ear, Billie a tabby point and Augustus (Gus) an apricot point Siamese and Miami who is a Siamese cross snowshoe. My cats are my world and yes they are spoilt, I can’t go in a pet store without coming out with a new toy or treats. I always wanted to own a cattery, but now think being a sitter is even better, I’m sure your cats would agree, home is always best. I just adore cats and have a natural affinity with them, I love to make new feline friends, discover their personalities and individual traits. Rest assured your cats will be loved, fed and pampered and hopefully not miss you too much. I volunteer for the Blue Cross as a cat socialiser, fostered for cats protection and currently help rescue, rehabilitate and rehome siamese cats. I have a vast amount of experience with most breeds. I have worked with feral, fear aggressive and traumatised cats to help them overcome their issues and ‘be the cat they were always meant to be’, seeing them happy in a new home is the most rewarding feeling. I am an expert pill giver, no cat has ever got the better of me, yet. Proficient and confident with injections (I give daily injections to one of my own) and topical medications. I have a level 3 veterinary support assistant diploma, so am trained in animal first aid and CPR, and a diploma in cat psychology, I’m always happy to to offer advice with any behavioural issues. Currently I’m studying cat anxiety and stress. I have been cat sitting for 3 years now and it is just the best job ever.

I will come to your house, all visits are a minimum of half an hour, filled with love, fuss, affection, grooming if required and of course feeding and cleaning litter trays. All visits are individual, tailor made to your cats requirements.

Just to say how lucky we were to find Sandra! An absolute professional from the initial meeting through the visits, reports and photos. Made me feel confident that she would cope if there was an emergency and warm and friendly to a slightly anxious cat (who I was shocked to see climbing on her lap)!! Highly recommend Sandra, and hope that she will be free next time we need a sitter. Thank you Sandra 🙂
It was lovely to meet Sandra and she took excellent care of Barbara while we were away. Sandra was very knowledgeable and thorough in our catchup before the dropin and on the day spent quality time with Babs and sent photos and a video update. Many thanks - Barbara is looking forward to future visits :)

Schedule
I work part time for the NHS 3 days a week 11am-3pm and one evening a week in a local vets, so have plenty of time around work to look after your cats.
