We have a fully fenced patio great for potty breaks, basking in the sun, or resting in the shade. Pets are always accompanied when outside for safety. Inside is always a comfortable 72 degrees. We have a 2-story home with hard-wood floors, but area rugs in most rooms make it nice and cozy for pups. We are a calm and quiet household who prefers dogs with matching energy, but we still like to play and run several times a day, followed by well-deserved naps. I’m happy to preserve your fur baby’s routine when they are in my care. I can also administer medication if needed. ** for the safety of all the pets in my care, your pet must be well-mannered, potty trained, up to date on all vaccinations, flee/tick free, and in no way contagious.

Please advise honestly if your pet has any special needs or behavioral issues. It doesn't mean I won't be able to help, but I like to know what we're dealing with so I can be as transparent as possible with you on my ability to keep your pet and mine safe and plan accordingly. Examples: * Leash aggressive or leash pulling * Food guarding * Protective or possessive behavior * Not friendly toward humans or other animals * History of biting humans or other animals * Separation Anxiety * Excessive barking * Recovering from injury or illness * Currently contagious (animal or human) * Fleas, ticks, or bedbugs in the home
A typical day
I'll make sure your pup is both physically and mentally stimulated through lots of playtime, walking and playing at my local residential park. Depending on your preferences and instructions, we can work on training commands or just let your fur baby get caught up on their "pee-mail".

Pet care experience
I’ve raised, trained & cared for dogs for over 30 years. My friends say any dog who stays with us has hit the jackpot. My husband & I both work from home, are mega dog lovers and shower all our guest pets with love and attention. We always provide daily "pupdates" and photos so our pet parents know their fur babies are being well cared for and loved in their absence. There’s nothing like peace of mind when you have to be away from your four-legged family members.

Sandy has taken care of our dog many times for us. She is not only responsible and follows all of our caregiving requests, but she also treats our dog with so much love and kindness. Our dog runs to her front door when he knows we have arrived at her house. She sends us beautiful pictures and daily updates on how our dog is doing. You will be very happy with how well cared-for your dog will be.
Sandra is absolutely wonderful! She has watched both of my pups, and I always feel 100% confident leaving them with her. She is truly engaged with them, plays with them, and gives them the kind of attention and care every pet parent hopes for. She doesn’t just “watch” them, she makes sure they feel loved, comfortable, and happy. Honestly, I’m pretty sure they have a better time with Sandy than they do with me! We definitely recommend Sandy for dog sitting! She absolutely loves dogs. Ted (our dog) has stayed with Sandy multiple times and when we go there now he acts like it’s his house. He has a favorite spot to lay, when he’s not cuddling on the sofa with Pete and Sandy. Oakley the resident dog is a great playmate. I know when we are away that Ted is in good hands and we get photos and recaps of their adventures daily. You really can’t find a better place for your dog! Mary N.
