You Can't Trust People Who Don't Like Dogs! haha

I have been dog crazy since the day I was born haha. Grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits and budgies, but dogs have a very very special place in my heart :) They are truly a part of the family :) I have experience walking and caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. From playful puppies needing extra training to senior dogs requiring gentle care, I adapt to each pet’s needs to ensure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m reliable, patient, and truly love animals. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, reinforce good behavior, and make walks enjoyable. My calm, friendly nature helps me build trust quickly, giving both pets and owners peace of mind.

Sandra made Winnie feel right at home as soon as we got there and I know she was looked after. She has a great house to care for pets and keep them safe. Will use again.

Sandra and her partner are great sitters. They have obviously formed a great bond with our dogs as they get excited when they realise they are at their door. The pups also look happy and healthy when we pick them up and have obviously had a great time.

Where do we start 😊. Sandra and her partner are just fantastic. They go above and beyond. They have just had our two fur babies for 2 weeks (Woody and Dougie) It was home from home. Our doggies just loved it there. Regular cuddles walks love. Sandra even got them chicken to eat as they didn’t fancy their normal food as it was so hot. Woody and Dougie were so well cared for. I cannot recommend Sandra enough. You can see Sandra has a genuine love for animals. We are so lucky to have come across Sandra and to have her except looking after Woody and Dougie.

The dogs are always super excited to go visit Sandra and her partner, and they always seem like they have had a really great time when we pick them up, I would highly recommend.

We were very happy with the care our dog received. He clearly had a great time, and it was lovely to see that he was treated as part of the family rather than just a pet being looked after. We came back to a relaxed and happy dog, which says everything. Thank you again for taking such good care of him.

Schedule

I am home during the week, and my weekends are flexible too, so I have lots of time for play, walks and cuddles. I am able to work to a schedule that is convenient for owners. I also have a big lovely house, and a big fenced garden for your dog to enjoy. No rooms, beds, sofas, etc are off limits to your dog (unless you do not like your dog on furniture, please feel free to let me know). A very dog friendly home/environment :)

A typical day

A typical day as a dog walker and sitter is all about making sure the pets in my care are happy, active, and well-looked after. I start by getting to know each pet’s energy level and personality; some love a high-energy run in the park, while others prefer a slow, sniff-filled stroll. Fun activities depend on the pet! I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or using puzzle toys to keep them entertained. If they enjoy learning, I might practice some basic training to keep their minds active. For pets that just want some company, I’m always happy to give belly rubs, cuddles, or just hang out so they feel safe and relaxed. Most of all, I treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel loved and cared for. Whether it’s an adventurous walk, a fun game, or just some quiet companionship, I make sure their day is as enjoyable as possible!

Before looking after a pet, it’s really important to know a few key things to make sure they’re happy and comfortable. I always like to ask: Personality & Behavior: Are they friendly with other dogs and people? Do they have any quirks, fears, or triggers (like loud noises or being left alone)? Please be sure to let me know if your dog doesn't like to be around other dogs, as I take this very seriously, and never want to put them in any distress. I will personalise walks and spaces that avoid this :) Energy Levels & Exercise Needs: Do they love long walks and playtime, or are they more of a relaxed, slow-stroll kind of dog? Food & Treats: Any special diet, feeding schedule, or favorite treats? Health & Medications: Do they have any allergies, medical conditions, or need daily meds? Training & Commands: What words or signals do they know? Are there any behaviour's their owner is working on? Likes & Dislikes: Favorite games, toys, or places? Anything they don’t like or find stressful? The more I know, the better I can tailor their care to make sure they feel safe, happy, and well looked after!
