Sandra was amazing with our Java will definitely rebook.

I had hoped that Sandra would send more frequent updates during my dog's stay - I had to check in with her and ask for photos, etc. Her excuse was that she was in the process of moving. She also has three dogs and a cat in a studio apartment which, had I known, would have made me look for another place to board. My dog is a golden who are notorious for eating anything. In one of the pictures Sandra sent I noticed a chewed up green foam mattress. When my dog returned home, acting differently, I didn't know what to think. She drank three bowls of water in fairly quick succession the day she returned and pooped 4 times - all unusual behaviors. I thought it might just be her adjusting to the change again but I wasn't sure. Two days later my dog was still not acting herself and I tried to call Sandra to get more details about my dogs stay and to see if she had perhaps eaten some of the mattress. I called, texted and left messages for 2.5 hours. Finally, Sandra texted me back claiming that she had been sleeping and her ringer was off. She claimed that nothing unusual happened and that she, "pick(s) up all the foam cuz we have 3 puppy's they like to chew on the bed but I always picked it up." Over the course of the next several day, my dog returned to her normal self. In the several texts I received from Sandra, she emphasized her love of animals and how she never would hurt any in her care. I don't doubt that - I just question the wisdom of having so many pets in a small space, allowing animals to chew up foam and the inability to stay in touch with owners.
