When I work, it's online via Zoom so I am available to be physically present for your animal(s) 100%. I am an avid hiker/ walker and I'm up early. I enjoy playing with and giving them attention. I have a calm presence which puts animals at ease, yet I understand how to manage challenging behaviors, should they arise.

I follow your requests and preferences. I walk dogs early and usually at least twice a day. I maintain awareness and listen for signs to take them outside to go potty or walk, allowing them to sniff around. Once dogs realize I'm a 'pack leader' they usually feel more safe and challenges disappear. Right now I am not able to have a dog in my home. Thank you for sharing your fur-baby with me while you are away.

A typical day
As a semi-retired 'digital nomad' there is no need for me to leave your pet to go anywhere. I'm up early attending to your dogs needs and giving them attention, a walk, playing fetch or just petting them, as they wish. I may spend time at the computer for a while, then another walk. I love to walk and always allow dogs to pause and sniff on walks. As a massage therapist for over 25 years, know their 'spots' and with your permission will include free myo-fascial release.

Pet care experience
As a massage therapist for over 25 years, I have worked on horses, cats, and dogs as well as people. I include FREE therapeutic massage to pets I care for. I've always had a dog and have been very honored to work with and care for dogs. I have owned and worked with dominant breed dogs, sharing with their owners how to support best behavior when asked. I understand canine psychology and genuinely love dogs.

Sandra was wonderful with my sweetheart tank of a dog...It was their first visit together and I could tell it was a good match. Sandra took my dog for a long walk and knew how to stop her pulling as well as allowed her to sniff. Sandra communicated very well and I'm sure I'll ask for her help again.

Sandra came through for us with a holiday housesit when our original sitter had to back out. It was a pleasure to work with Sandra. She was curious and attentive, wanting to learn about our senior pup’s personality, needs and preferences. With Sandra, I felt our pup and home were well-cared for, and we were able to travel without worry.
I have been Sandras neighbor since 2011. When I first met her she had a most handsome Bullmastiff. I have only positive memories of her with her dog, she took very good care of him. One time I entrusted her to watch my dog. Sandra is a kind and gentle person. Those qualities spill over onto how she is with dogs. Both my dog and the other neighbors dog love her as she is thoughtful and brings them treats. I know regular association with dogs will fill her cup!
