Extensive experience including older & rescue dogs
I have 49 years of caring for dogs. Initially, I had large breeds particularly Alsatian’s but as I got older I developed a love for Jack Russells and smaller dogs. I’ve cared for all of my dogs until they passed, so my experience includes senior care ie, administering medication and catering for special diets according to veterinary advice. As I’m retired I have plenty of time to fuss over and pet your dog… being with dogs is a tonic for me.

We couldn’t recommend Sandra highly enough. This was the very first time we’d ever left our French Bulldog, Charles, as we were away getting married, so naturally we were quite anxious. Sandra immediately put our minds at ease with her professionalism, kindness, and genuine love for dogs. Throughout the week, she kept us updated with regular messages, photos, and videos, which meant the world to us. Being able to see how happy, relaxed, and well cared for Charles was allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding without worrying about him. It was so clear that Sandra had built a real bond with Charles during his stay. In fact, we’re not entirely convinced he even wanted to come home! Seeing how excited and comfortable he was with her was the greatest reassurance we could have asked for. Thank you, Sandra, for treating Charles like one of your own and giving us complete peace of mind during one of the most important weeks of our lives. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again, and we know Charles will be just as excited to see you next time!
Sandra was amazing from the start of the booking until the end. Sandra arranged a couple of meets prior to the booking for our little Moomin who never been to a dog sitters and only stayed with family so that was great. Communication was perfect, answering all our questions super fast and helping with any queries. During the booking Sandra sent regular updates, pictures and photos to let us know how things were going. Sandra is a lovely lady and any dog would be lucky to stay with her. Moomin will be back for her summer holiday and we would highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for a sitter.
As a repeat customer of Sandra's, I would not trust anyone else more. She is always kind and loving towards my Frenchie. She took great care of him during a heatwave that he tends to struggle with. Communication is always superb with Sandra. I highly recommend her!
I cannot recommend Sandra more highly. She is excellent with Riju, walking her twice and giving her lots of attention and cuddles, I love receiving little updates throughout the day seeing how happy my pup is. I recently left Riju for her first over night stay and everything went smoothly, I'll definitely be using her service again
Sandra was amazing with Gatsby, doting on him and keeping him company, playing with him, taking him for walks, and generally making him feel very welcome and safe. She was also amazing with myself as an owner by keeping in contact and providing regular updates and reassurances. I would highly recommend her.
Sandra was wonderful once more with our timid little jackapoo … she went over and above with caring for her. Lovely lady we are looking forward to using again Lynda

Schedule
I am retired and enjoy walking. I have a love of outdoors and there are many lovely walks from my home. I am able to devote all my time caring for your pet as I no longer have my own dog but miss the companionship that comes with having a dog. I’m passed the stage of having my own dog but am looking forward to sharing my love of dogs while I care for yours whilst you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a lovely front and back secure gardens, that are monitored with cameras and the house is alarmed, so your dog will be safe and secure whilst in my care. There are plentiful local walks and open fields to explore. I’m an early riser and dogs always take priority. I’ll make sure that I follow the owners routines so that their dog feels comfortable and secure while they’re in my care.
A typical day
I always follow the owners wishes regarding what their pet loves to do and will facilitate their pets needs. I’m happy to go walking, play ball or just sit and have a cuddle while watching TV. FYI…There is a pet grooming service in the village, which I could use on your behalf if necessary.
