30+Years Caring for Dogs with Heart

I’ve had dogs my entire life. They’ve always been at the center of my heart and home. My last two, Pinky and Kika, lived long, happy lives (16 and 18 years), and caring for them taught me patience, attentiveness, and a deep appreciation for every stage of a dog’s life. I offer a calm, loving environment where dogs feel safe and truly cared for, always paying close attention to their routine, comfort, and emotional needs. Whether a dog is playful, shy, or a senior who needs extra gentleness, I treat each one as if they were my own.

Sanra and Jose are caring and loving pet sitters. They had pets who lived for a very long time, up to 18 years old. I know when your dog(s) are at their home, they become a part of their family. Their home is equipped with all the pet stuff you need. They are attentive and make sure that the pets get the attention and care they need. They both genuinely love dogs and will treat your pet as if it were their own. If you want a loving and warm home when you are away, Sandra and Jose are your trusted rovers.

Sandra and Jose were excellent with my two girls - Ellie and Lucy. They were patient, kind, and attentive with them and they sent many updates regarding how they were getting along and settling in. I highly recommend them and I will definitely be using them again for future stays.

Sandra & Jose are everything you could want in the people who you trust to watch your pet. I could tell from the photos that my pup felt safe, happy, and truly at home with this lovely couple. It kinda felt like he belongs with them, so I was happy to extend his stay. Communication was on point, lots of cute pupdates, and my dog came home as one should after a lovely vacation— relaxed and happy. Thank you both for your time & dedication. It means the world to my little family.

Sandra is the real thing. If you've ever met someone who loves dogs the way most people only claim to, that's her. I call myself a dog lover, but I'll be honest: I don't love every dog. Sandra does. There isn't a puppy, a gray-muzzled senior, or a goofy ball of energy she won't fall for on sight. She gives every one of them her whole heart. Over the years I've watched her care for dozens of dogs for family, friends, and strangers who showed up needing help. She never turned anyone away. She has the skills and the patience too, not just the love. When my dogs Kika and Pinky got old, they went from fetch-all-day dogs to aching seniors with a long list of physical and mental problems. Sandra adapted. She adjusted everything to what they needed and made sure they lived the best years they had left. That's the part people underestimate. Loving a bouncy puppy is easy. Caring for a dog who's slowing down and hurting takes real patience, and she has it. She's a vocational school teacher by trade, and she brings that same instinct to dog sitting. She reads what each dog needs and meets it. Some want a lap and a quiet corner. Others want to run until they drop. Sandra pays attention and gives them a calm, kind place to be, treated the way any good dog deserves. I'm biased, I know. But I don't think you'll find a better sitter than her.

Doggy Day Care • Jun 27, 2026

This was my first time using the Rover app as well as using Sandra to dog sit. We have a 20 month old French Bulldog that is extremely active and highly sensitive to everything 😆 and I wasn’t sure how having her with a stranger would go. First of all, Sandra and Jose are extremely friendly and. I’ve people and Kaia took to them immediately. Sandra sent photos and vidoes throughout the day showing me how Kaia was and keeping me updated. I felt assured and confident that Kaia was well taken care of and upon pickup I got a run down of the day and Kaia had so much fun she couldn’t even keep her eyes open before we left the driveway. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again!! 5 STARS
