Dog Park, Walking or Hanging Out
I am a recently retired High School teacher who continues to be active and has always loved being around both dogs and cats. Over the past 40 years I have owned both and have also cared for pets for friends and family. I estimate my collective experience to be between 9-10 years. My years of experience lend to a mature, dependable and responsible approach to both pet and house care. I don’t currently have pets because my rental situation will not allow them but this also allows me the flexibility to sit in your home or make home visits. I have found that many people would like to allow play-time at the dog park for their pets but are challenged to find the time (or energy, with busy jobs and life). My visits or stays can include the dog park, walking near your home or playing in the yard - whichever you prefer. I also have a love for cats, whether for petting or cuddling or just being around their unique and independent personalities.

Sandy was absolutely a dream. My cat George is not always welcoming to newcomers, but he warmed to her quickly and she was amazing from start to finish. Kind, communicative, timely, clean, wonderful all around. She was open and understanding that cats really need to come to you on their own terms, and she sent photos of George while I was away. Highly recommend Sandy for your furbabies!

- I trust that the pet owner will leave good instructions for care of their pet, I have not had a problem with this. Any special needs related to medical conditions would certainly need to be communicated clearly :).
