I am a retired school administrator with a 36-year history of creating productive learning environments and protecting the lives of thousands of school children. Care-taking is my thing. Now, I have a very flexible schedule/calendar, and I am wide open to opportunities to meet and care for animals of all shapes, sizes, and colors.

A typical day
Any pet I watch is showered with attention. I believe you should talk to pets as if they are human, just like YOU—as if they could speak up and answer you back! In fact, they do tell you about themselves with their eyes, ears, and tail, so I talk to them, pet them, and play with them with whatever toys are available in their home.

I love pets! I’ll love yours, too!
Pet care experience
Dogs, cats, birds, and fish . . . These are some of the best friends I’ve had over the last 45 years. All of my pets have lived long, healthy lives based on excellent feeding, grooming, and regular medical care. I genuinely love animals and have a very watchful eye on their well-being.
Reviews

It’s a comfort for me when my dog, Zeke, is in Sandy’s care. When I’m away I can focus on what I need to do and I don’t worry about Zeke at all. I’m very grateful for Sandy’s loving care of my little dog. She’s a very wonderful and kind person.

Thank you, Sandy, for taking such good care of Zeke. I am so grateful!!!
