Hi I’m Sandi, and my partner is Ivor, we’ve both grown up with many different types of animals and we totally understand the need for you to feel that your pet is well cared for and loved when you aren't home. We have 2 gorgeous dogs of our own and they are absolutely part of our family. We will give your pets undivided love and attention, so they don't miss you too much. Note: Only one of us will stay in your home to look after your pets, and we won’t bring our dogs to your home. We are both very passionate about our furry friends, and believe a happy pet is an easy pet to care for!

Safety, trust & environment
We offer a tailored service for your pet. It is important that they feel safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away. You will see upon meeting us, that we both have a natural, instinctive affinity towards animals, and you can feel secure knowing that we will put the needs of your pet first to ensure they are safe and well taken care of. We will tailor any walks to suit your dog, as guided by you, and we’ll take them on their usual local walks if that suits them best. We believe pets should always be under supervision, we won’t leave your pet at home (unless otherwise agreed, or they prefer it and feel safer than being out & about). It’s really helpful to know if your pet has any medical conditions, needs medication, or has specific routines. We’d also like to know about their behaviour, for example: how they get along with other dogs, if they have any fears, or special quirks, or are prone to exhibiting any abnormal behaviours or if there are any particular environments or stimuli that are likely to elicit a negative response. This way, we can pre-empt these scenarios and quickly and efficiently rectify the situation to make them more comfortable, safe, happy, and cared for, exactly the way they are used to. We can also administer medication if needed, so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. Our house sitting services include: Daily walks (including cleaning muddy paws!), playtime/training games, feeding, indoor/outdoor plant watering, daily photo updates, picking up your mail, taking out bins (if needed) and ensuring your home is kept clean, safe and secure.

Sandra and Ivor looked after our 2 dogs Holly and Lulu whilst we were away for the weekend. Sandra and Ivor are really lovely people. They took the time to arrange a meet and greet with the dogs before they house sat which was very reassuring and the dogs were happy and relaxed around them straight away. Good comms received throughout the weekend and the house was clean and tidy and dogs happy when we returned. I can highly recommended them for house sitting and hope to be able to use their services again in the future.
This was our first time using the Rover App and Sandi’s home and dog sitting service. What can we say - she was amazing! We were nervous leaving Astro for the first time as he’s a rescue and has a lot of manners to learn still! Sandi was fantastic and messaged us every day with updates and pictures of Astro leaving us feeling reassured and able to relax on holiday. Astro clearly loved being with Sandi. She also left the house spotless, watered our plants.. 10/10 - we would love to have Sandi pup sit again!
Ivor carried out our dog sitting for a week & I would highly recommend! The dogs were happy, well cared for and we got regular updates. When one of them got ill, Ivor kept a close eye on her, adapted her food and she was right as rain upon our return. The house was spotless which made our return to home so lovely and us really appreciated. I would definitely use again. Thank you

Sandi and Ivor looked after our cockapoo for a weekend and we came home to a well looked after and happy dog. The communication beforehand was excellent and it sounds like a great time was had by all! Would not hesitate to recommend Sandi and Ivor and book them again!

Schedule
We live in Hampshire and both work from home and have reasonably flexible schedules, which allows us to tailor walking and feeding times and adjust to your pets usual daily routine, in order to lessen the stress of you being away from them. We understand how difficult it is to find someone who will care for your pets when needed, which is one of the reasons we joined Rover ourselves.
