I am retired and very flexible on times and days. I am open to caring for your pets in my (condo) home or yours. I prefer a small (under 25 lbs preferably) dog for in my home. I am restricted to two pets at a time (including my Pomeranian) so only accept one at a time. That ensures your dog will receive lots of attention.

Safety, trust & environment
I have direct access to yard that is far off streets and great for running and playing. If unsure, I keep your fur baby leashed and walk or run him/her 3 times or more each day. I can apply meds but no injections. There is one other dog besides mine in the condo building who is friendly and playful, and one Chin in the next building who is shy and stays away from others except occasionally. Your pup will be safe and secure.

Information Sandra C. would like to know about your pet
No breed preference. Dog should be house broken for boarding or day care, non-aggressive with other dogs or people. Older dogs and special need dogs are welcome or I can come to your home.
A typical day
I live in a spacious condo with easy access to the yard and walkways. Lots of area to walk but am also willing to care for her/him in your home, take them to the dog park to play ball and socialize, or lengthy walk.

Pet care experience
Dogs have always been a part of my world, home training, loving, caring and fostering fur babies has been my pleasure. It’s an honor to be given their trust and affection and to provide safe shelter for them to develop and explore. I currently have a 5 yo Pom. I often have cared for friends’ dogs in my home. I have not yet found a dog I didn’t love and who took to me as well from pit bull to poodle. I present them with a calm gentle presence and they generally respond the same. They bring so much love and joy to my life and help keep me moving and healthy as well. I can keep on schedule with their meds and routines and keep in touch with you so you can know how they are doing.

Sandy watched my three large dogs for nearly two weeks while I was away, staying in my home the whole time. She kept me updated and sent photos throughout, which I really appreciated. One of my dogs, Clyde, is a Pointer who tends to shut down and refuse food when I'm gone-with Sandy he was eating well throughout. I returned home to three happy, healthy dogs and a house that was genuinely well cared for. With three big dogs, that's no small thing. Would absolutely book her again.
So wonderful, all the way around! I knew my dog would be in the best hands. Sandy took her on walks and made her feel at home and at ease. Very easy, very fast communication- and we even received a detailed update during the day. Thank you, Sandy! 🐾
I've known Sandy for years and seen her care for animals especially dogs. She provided excellent care for my little poodlle meany times as well as for others. I highly recommend her as a pet caregiver.
