We are a homeschooling family and we work from home. Someone is almost always home! We're available to board dogs anytime we're not on vacation ourselves!

We promise to treat your pet like family here at Snowy River Farm! We have both a 2-acre fenced in area and space to run free. Your pet will have the entire lower level of the home to themselves. Brad works from home on that same level and we are all around very often. Our own small dogs will stay on separate floors and not see your pet, unless we all agree they get along great together and you approve them co-mingling a bit. We can crate your dog(s) if that's your preference. Otherwise, a comfy chair with a blankie is just fine! ;-) Each dog we care for gets patient, loving, one-on-one attention tailored just for them. We’ll keep you connected with daily photo updates and little stories from their stay. If you want a sitter who treats your dog like family—offering room to roam, a peaceful farm setting, and plenty of cuddles—we’d love to welcome them into our home.

Your pet must be kind to cats, as we have a few outdoor cats roaming around the farm. If you are unsure, we will need to keep your pet on a leash while he/she is here. Let us know if your pet has any special need requirements. We know it's hard to trust someone else with your pet's care. We pride ourselves on being reliable and loving, and we're happy to care for their special needs.
A typical day
We can play games, play catch, take a walk, check out the smells, or whatever! If your dog is older or more chill, we will respect that and give them quiet time. We will definitely make sure we engage with your pet often and they aren't just left in a crate (if at all- up to you!).
