Pet care experience
I have been a sitter and owned all types of animals including dogs, cats, horses, tortoises, turtles, birds, hamsters, and geese. I have taken care of 2 senior dogs that were a family members but they would spend half the time at my house. They were small dogs that lived to be 18, they were blind and could barely walk so they required lots of careful attention. I have also been able to raise 2 puppies of my own; a chihuahua and a rescued German spitz mix that was very aggressive at first. I also took care of a Rottweiler puppy almost weekly for the first two years of its life.

She is truly an advocate and activist for animals’ well-being. She has had pets of all species throughout her entire life and they have all been so well loved and cared for. She will always put the health and happiness of her pets before herself. Sandra shows this same compassion towards animals she has never met; whether that be strangers’ pets, strays, or shelter animals. She never hesitates to help and protect stray animals she finds on the streets. She always donates to both large and small, independent rescue organizations. Sandra is extremely responsible and loving towards animals and pets; and I’m certain that animals provide her the same happiness that she provides them.

My dogs are at my moms home and they were crate trained when they were young but now they stay inside the house by themselves. The dogs have their food bowl out and water bowls out. They are potty trained by me as well and I can help you train your dogs too. My cat has an automatic feeder and running water at all time. I clean his litter 1-2 a day because he doesn’t like it dirty. He gets treats and we use them as training for him to accept our affection.

A typical day
I love playing with dogs, I know all dogs have different ways of playing and it’s important to know their boundaries. I love walking dogs and letting them take their time smelling and doing their thing. I’m a big cuddler, if the dog/cat likes it I will cuddle them nonstop.
