Hi there! I’m Sanaz — a lifelong dog lover with over 12 years of experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. I’ve raised my own dog since puppyhood and have regularly sat for friends, neighbors, and family over the years. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a longer trip, I make it my mission to create a safe, fun, and loving environment that puts pet parents at ease. Safety is my top priority. My home is clean, pet-proofed, and full of love (and healthy treats!). I’m hyper-vigilant about routines, medications (if needed), and making sure your fur baby stays secure, happy, and stress-free. I believe in structured play, frequent walks, and positive reinforcement. I’m not a certified trainer, but I’ve successfully helped several friends with potty training and leash behavior — patience, consistency, and praise go a long way! You can count on me to follow your instructions to the letter — from feeding schedules to quirky bedtime routines. Your dog’s comfort and well-being are always top of mind. Whether your pup is a snugglebug, a ball-chaser, or just enjoys a calm corner to nap in, I adjust my care to meet their needs. This was the first time I left Maxine with a sitter instead of family or friends, and it was a great experience. I felt comfortable with Sanaz, even after the first meet and greet. She communicated regularly and sent photos, reassuring me that Maxine was well cared for - allowing me to have a great weekend away.

Could not recommend Sanaz enough, she is communicative, charismatic and reasonably flexible about drop off and pick up. We have a big, high energy dog and he came home a tired boy!

Schedule
I have a full time job but can work from home 2-3 days a week. During the week I am available for night boarding and walks after 4 pm and on weekends much more flexible.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a two-bedroom apartment with a spacious living room, located on the first floor — so your fur baby won’t have to deal with too many stairs. While I don’t have a backyard, I’m conveniently located near a park and surrounded by several fenced-in dog parks right here in Hoboken, perfect for safe and fun playtime. I have an 11-year-old Shih Tzu who’s calm, friendly, and happy to be a companion for your pup. If your dog is crate-trained, I’m happy to accommodate that as well — just be sure to provide the crate

A typical day
I love stimulating your pup physically and mentally. We will explore the neighborhood and the parks and make sure to check out doggy parks for play time assuming you are comfortable with that.
