Availability
Balancing a career in mobile phlebotomy with my nursing studies has taught me the value of flexibility and time management. Because my profession allows me to set my own schedule, I am able to prioritize my clients' needs by maintaining consistent availability that adapts to their routines. I am currently open for visits Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. and again in the evenings from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This structure ensures I can provide reliable, high-quality care for your cats while staying committed to my professional and academic goals.

About Sanaa S.
Communication
Safety, trust & environment
My approach to cat sitting is rooted in the philosophy of consent-based care, where I allow the cat’s individual personality and body language to dictate our interactions. I understand that every cat is a unique individual with their own boundaries; rather than imposing my presence, I observe their subtle cues to determine whether they prefer active play, quiet companionship, or respectful distance. I treat every feline client with the same level of profound reverence and protective care I would offer a vulnerable family member—just as you would never endanger a child or an elderly relative by ignoring their comfort or safety needs, I hold myself to an even higher standard of vigilance. Of course, nothing in life is fool proof. In the event of an emergency, you can rest assured that your pet’s well being is in capable hands. With my professional background in human medicine, I approach every situation with precision and a calm, clear-headed focus. I understand that when a crisis arises, every second counts, and I am fully committed to providing real-time updates while acting decisively to ensure your cat receives the immediate care they need. You will never be left in the dark, as I prioritize proactive transparency to keep you fully informed and confident that your family member is receiving the highest standard of safety.

Cat Whsipering from Me to You!
Cat care experience
Whether you need someone for a quick kitty check-in or extended companionship, I would love to provide your feline family memeber with the same care and attention I would give my own. While my youth might be the first thing you notice, I bring a depth of experience and professional maturity to every visit; volunteering at the Antioch Animal Shelter for two years, including where I actively participated in cat adoption events and learned the nuances of feline body language. My reputation precedes me, as friends and clients from my work as a Mobile Phlebotomist often refer to me as the "cat whisperer"—having a unique talent for earning the trust of even the most guarded cats who typically shy away from strangers! My love for cats is rooted in a deep understanding of their biology and ethology, going well beyond simple human interpretations of their behavior. (For instance, a lot of people over let their cats, where the initial stimulation is enjoyable it can become aggressive/overstimulating with signs in ears pinning back, dilated pupils, and tail flicks!) After the passing of my own cat in June 2025, I am deeply committed to channeling my passion into caring for your companions. Currently balancing my career in phlebotomy with nursing school, the time I dedicate to your pets is truly a labor of love, fueled by a professional standard of safety and a heartfelt dedication to feline well-being. What aspect of your cat's personality or care routine should we discuss first to ensure your pet feels completely comfortable while you're away?
