I work part-time out of the house a few days a week for around 5 hours in the evening. If your cat has a very strict feeding schedule (specifically for dinner time), I may not be the best fit.

I prioritize gaining an understanding of what kind of company your cat prefers to ensure what is most comfortable for them. Does your cat prefer direct interactions? Adjacent company, parallel play? I appreciate detailed care instructions so that I’ll be able to take care of your cat’s needs properly. I will always do my absolute best to keep them happy. :)

Please let me know of behaviors to be aware of (for example, don’t leave food on the coffee table unattended, don’t leave hair ties laying around..). And of course, if any medications are needed to be administered, and injuries/health concerns if they are present.
A typical day
My visits always start out with gauging how your cat is feeling about me entering your home. How this goes completely depends on the cat but I generally take it slow to reduce as much stress as possible. :) I’ll make sure to ask what your cat enjoys doing and do a little bit of everything!

Cat care experience
I grew up with cats in the house and pet sit for my neighbors, friends, and family all my life. Upon moving out of my home for college, I started Rover to continue being able to spend time with them. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats with a huge variety of needs and temperaments. I cannot express enough how much I love and care for these creatures; they’re truly one of the biggest lights of my life.

Sana was a caring and attentive cat sitter, and really communicative/flexible when a key handoff did not go as planned (my fault). She let me know about some symptoms my cat (who was recovering from some health issues) was showing, and went the extra mile to help me feel okay about being away from him. Would definitely re-book!
Sana watched our two kitties for several days – we appreciated her updates and communication, keeping us in the loop with things. Our kitties seemed to really like her too :)
