We’re Sam and Solene, a Southern California couple who started full-time house and pet sitting in Hawaii back in the beginning of 2025! We've cared for all types of pets; dogs with separation anxiety, shy cats, senior pups, energetic big dogs, and even birds. We’ve completed 200+ overnight house and pet sits across Hawaii and California, caring for dogs, cats, and homes as if they were our own. Our goal is to keep pets comfortable, relaxed, and on their normal routine while you’re away, staying in their home where they feel safest. We’re extremely respectful of your space and always leave homes as clean or cleaner than we found them. This includes taking out trash, washing and changing sheets, doing light cleaning, and making sure you return to a tidy home.

We only offer stays in the pet owner’s home, as we find it helps pets feel the most comfortable and safe in their familiar environment. We keep homes tidy, follow any special instructions to the letter, and respect your space as if it were our own. We’re calm, caring, and confident in situations that require extra sensitivity—like helping a nervous dog settle in or watching over an aging pet with medication needs. We’ve also got plenty of experience maintaining routines, giving medications, and managing household basics like mail, plants, and light cleaning.

Samuel and Solene are a great team! My dog Clarence was very quickly at ease in their presence and eager to play ball and snuggle with them. They have good dog energy, are polite and have good communication. I look forward to using them again soon!
Samuel & Solene were wonderful from the getko! They were super friendly, kind, and asked questions, which made us feel that they really wanted to take good care of our animals. Sam and Solene were just fantastic. Great communication and they are just so kind. They checked in daily with photos and took our Geordie on a hike (his favorite thing) in addition to his daily walks. They completely spoiled him. They also left our house incredibly clean (probably cleaner than we left it for them), took out the trash and offered to wash the sheets. We will definitely be using them again. You should too!

Our schedule is very open and flexible. Since house and pet sitting is our full-time lifestyle, your pets won’t be left alone for long hours. We're typically with them most of the day—whether that's hanging out in the yard, going for walks, or just providing comfort and company around the house. We’re reliable and easily reachable throughout the sit.
