Retired and loves animals!
Growing up on a farm in North Dakota and volunteering at local shelters means that I've been caring for animals almost my entire life. Dogs, cats, and horses, I was part of taking care of our pets from the day they were born until they crossed the rainbow bridge, always treating them like family. When walking or checking in on your pet it will be me Sam), when boarding it will be both of us Nicole. I look forward to hearing from you!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my highest priority. I am familiar with safe dog introductions and reading their body language. Additionally, I am trained to safely intervene between animals if they become aggressive, while minimizing injury to the animals and myself. This was taught before I could work at the FM dog rescue. l will respond quickly to reduce stress on your pet. I would like to know immediately if something is upsetting one of my pets, and it is essential that yours receive the same treatment.

Samuel was great! Highly recommended, he had great communication and asked good questions, made me feel comfortable right away. He's obviously very fimilar and comfortable around dogs. My Archie is bit crazy but a sweetie, and he warmed up very quickly to Samuel for his visit. I can tell from the photos he had a BLAST! Thank so much!
Samuel was great with our puppy! It was her first day at home without myself or my husband. Samuel came for two drop in visits on the same day. He ensured that she played, ate, and was not too lonely. He kindly sent updates and gave us some peace of mind.
Sam is easy to get in touch with and is great with my dog. He is very courteous and completely trusted coming over when we are not home. Paired with his fair pricing plan, he is an exceptional option for Rover.
Sam and Nicole are awesome! They took care of our girl in the middle of a long day. We could tell it was a great walk because she was happy and relaxed when we got home!
I would trust Sam with my dog any day. He’s incredibly dependable, patient, and genuinely loves animals. Watching how he cares for his own dog makes it obvious that he understands the time, consistency, and attention dogs need to feel safe and happy. He’s great at picking up on their energy — whether they need a long walk to burn off steam or just some calm company. He’s the kind of person who doesn’t just “watch” your dog, he actually engages with them and makes sure they’re comfortable. If you’re looking for someone responsible, kind, and easy to communicate with, you won’t regret choosing him.
Sam is amazing with our pup. He has hung out with Dippy (115 pounds of love) on many occasions. Sam takes great care of Dippy and has no issue dealing with Dippy’s size, I couldn’t ask for anyone better to watch our little guy!
