Hi, I’m Sam! I live in the Lesseps area of Barcelona and speak English, Spanish, and French. I offer dog walking, boarding, day care and drop-in visits for your dog. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life - there have always family dogs at home, so being around them feels completely natural to me. I’ve been walking dogs, caring for dogs, feeding dogs and making sure their needs are met for over 14 years - both my own dogs and walking/looking after friends’ dogs. Since moving to Barcelona I want to reconnect with dogs again! I’m passionate about making sure every dog in my care feels safe, stimulated, and genuinely well looked after. I’m responsible, reliable, and communicate proactively, I can send regular updates and photos so you always know your dog is happy. I’m fully comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds.

Sam is my go-to for looking after my dog while I’m away or walking him when I’m unable. Rufus loves going to see Sam, he takes him out for long walks and is so good with playtime and making sure he’s having sufficient enrichment. I trust Sam more than anyone else! He’s incredibly reliable and cares for Rufus like he’s his own dog! I’d 100% recommend Sam to anyone.
We trusted Sam with Bella and Cora when we had to go away for an emergency. He was excellent and communicated really well , with regular pupdates that we had asked him to send throughout the day. I would highly recommend Sam he is a natural.

Schedule
Dog care is something I take seriously and plan around, not something I fit in around the edges. I’m currently between jobs, so I’m genuinely home throughout the day and available all day, that means boarded or day care dogs get real company and attention, not long stretches alone. Walks are built into the day as a genuine priority. I’m active and love being outside, so this suits me just as much as it suits the dog. I’m also happy to travel to you within a reasonable distance.

Safety, trust & environment
At home, I make sure the environment is safe, calm, and welcoming. We have a comfortable flat with a spacious terrace for fresh air and some outdoor play, no other pets, and plenty of space to relax. I always stick to a dog’s existing routine as closely as possible — familiar feeding times, walks, and rest patterns make a big difference in helping a dog feel settled somewhere new.
A typical day
A typical day includes a proper walk — not just a quick loop around the block —, we have two large parks within a few minutes walk, time to relax at home, and plenty of attention throughout. I keep dogs on-lead in the city at all times unless in a designated off-lead area, and I tailor the day around each dog’s energy and needs.
