I'm working this job part/fulltime, based on demand. I will be available weekdays Monday-Friday. I am available on the weekends based on request and plans should be made 3 days in advance for most weekend pet sittings (exceptions can be made if discussed ahead of time).

Pets will be on a reflective leash at all time. I'm comfortable walking all sizes of pets, and they will be leashed when outside unless a fence is on your individual property, and you prefer your pets to be in your yard. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they are comfortable with me and their environment. Any specific safety requests can be discussed.

Any special needs are required up front including specialized care including medications, dietary restrictions, physical limitations, friendliness towards other pets(will determine if the different dog parks are good locations.
A typical day
I generally like morning walks to start the day and playtime throughout the day. Walks will be provided as requested/needed. Potty breaks are as needed per pet. Meals in the morning or evening or both work. The pets will be around me at all times as long as they don't mind the company. I enjoy playing on the ground with pets and using various toys such as balls, ropes, chew bones, and other various squeaky or fluffy toys. I also have experience with enrichment toys to provide lasting engagement from an enjoyable task. I love playing fetch and tug of war with pets. I use treats to reinforce positive behaviors and teach new skills. I also train dogs in receiving handfed treats in a gentle and safe way.

Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs and cats since 16 and have always watched, walked, played with pets for family/friends. I am American Red Cross Certified to give emergency medical assistance such as CPR, cleaning wounds, checking for dehydration, and animal control in dangerous situations. I also have experience with giving medications and working with pets with some disabilities. I provide leash training based on years of experience with dogs of all sizes and even a few cats! I engage well with most animals and have worked with pets with emotional needs as well.

We had Sam for a house sit for two days. Great sitter. Our dog was very happy with him and house was clean when we got home! He stayed with Larry and made sure he wasn’t lonely. So glad we got him for our newly adopted boy.
All went okay, I would had like more play time with Buddy, but hopefully Buddy will adjust more the next visit. Will rebook Sam in the future he did communicate well and had a safety kit in his car in case of and emergency.
Samuel communicated with me quickly after my booking request. He was attentive to the needs of my pets which allowed me to feel reassured while I was away. My dog loved his walks. I would recommend Samuel for your pet needs.
Samuel was amazing with our animals. We get nervous leaving our pets with other people because they are our babies, but Samuel made us very comfortable and kept us in the loop the entire weekend as well as sent us pictures throughout the weekend. We will for sure be using him again in the near future. 😀 Amazing job. Thank you again Samuel.
