My wife Katherine and I are both experienced pet carers who have spent our whole lives around animals, mainly larger dog breeds like Labradors which I grew up with, as well as cats and horses. We are insured for our sitting and boarding services through Pet Plan Sanctuary. Growing up, we always had pets at home, and from a young age we were responsible for their daily care. That included everything from walking the dogs, mucking out stables, feeding routines, grooming, bathing, and of course ball/stick throwing and belly rubs (for those that want it). Over the years, we’ve continued to care for animals for friends, family and neighbours often stepping in when they're away or need a helping hand. We've looked after everything from high energy puppies to senior dogs needing a gentler approach. We’re confident with strong, active breeds and understand how to tailor exercise and play to each dog's needs. Also picking up on when they may need space or affection depending on their mood.
