Availability
I live with my fiancée so I have two people available for dog care. I work full-time as a Food & Beverage Manager at hotels in Boston and she works in banquets, so our schedules change every week and I am looking to get more dogs in my life on a day-to-day basis. A little extra cash is helpful, but most importantly we would love to have more dogs in our life 🙂

I have an apartment in a building that is incredibly pet-friendly. I also live directly next to a veterinarian as an added bonus. I also have a car and scooter and would happily go to any clients’ home.

Information Samuel E. would like to know about your pet
I would say the only caveat is *sometimes* my fiancée and I will work the same shift, maybe once or twice a week, resulting in a walk around 2:30p pre-shift and 11p after-shift. I think it’s important to be upfront about that, and know if that time frame would be acceptable for your pets.
A typical day
We loveeee taking dogs we sit to Prospect Hill Park! It’s great for playtime and getting that extra energy out. Otherwise, some very well-deserved cuddles for your pets are always in store.

Pet care experience
My entire life I’ve taken care of dogs; in addition to experience growing up with family pets, both big & small, older and puppies, I also worked as a PetSmart pet hotel night staffer - feeding, walking, and keeping an eye on all pets the entire evening. I also gained valuable experience in college owning my own dog, ensuring I was always available for walks, playtime, and pets constantly throughout the day.

My dog stayed with Sam and his fiancée Morgane for a 2.5-week stay and I can't recommend or thank them enough. Right before the stay my dog had a Lyme's disease flare up which required rest and medication. I was nervous about leaving him for so long while sick, but felt at ease during drop-off when Sam assured me it was no big deal. They sent me lots of updates (including videos of how Ozzie was doing) and made sure I had the communication I needed/wanted, and that Ozzie got all his meds. They were both so easy to coordinate pickup/drop off with, and Ozzie had a great time with lots of play (once better) and attention! Thank you Sam and Morgane - Ozzie can't wait for the next "vacation"!
Sam was the primary owner of a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, Brandy, that we jointly cared for during our time in college. Sam was a fantastic companion and caregiver to Brandy. If there was ever a question about his availability to give her ample quality time, he made sure to make up for it by getting me involved. Brandy never felt lonely, hungry, or cooped up, which is incredibly hard to do in downtown Philadelphia. Sam went out of his way to find other dog owners and make sure Brandy got to socialize with them. He puts the needs of all pets first and gives them immeasurable love.
Sam is a caretaker. He made sure that the fraternity dog was properly cared for. The vet said she was the happiest and healthiest frat dog that he had ever seen. Sam was the overnight caretaker in a Pet Smart and he was particularly in tune with every dog’s need. At home he was the first to notice when one of our dogs was not well. He checks on the dogs water bowl as soon as he walks in the door. Dogs have an affinity to him and he to them .He brought the dog snack jar to the hotel where he works. The dogs are customers as well. I would trust Sam with any dog - he loves them and cares for them and sees their needs. Theresa Eichenwald
Sam is a highly capable pet sitter. In his interactions and time looking after my dog and a dog of our mutual friend, he has shown excellent understanding of dog behavior / training, attentive communication with the dog owners, and trustworthiness to respond to unforeseen circumstances. Sam is the first person I ask when I need a pet sitter, and he should be yours too!
