Our schedule: Both of us work from home and we can take small breaks throughout the day to ensure your pet has the best care and attention possible. We are also always at home so taking care of your pup during the entire stay is no issue! Please Note: While we work from home, we are unable to dedicate extensive time during our workday for your pup, even though we would love too. If your dog requires multiple long walks or extensive attention, we may not be the right sitters for you.

Our environment: We have a calm apartment in a quiet complex. We have a medium/large crate suitable for most sizes, but feel free to bring your dog's preferred crate if your dog uses one. Creating a home away from home experience is our priority! While we typically prefer hosting one dog at a time, there may be instances where stays overlap, especially on pick-up and drop-off days. This means your dog might encounter other dogs during their stay. We have experience introducing dogs to each other, supervising their play, and managing their interactions as necessary. We reserve the right to board additional dogs at our discretion during your stay.

Please let us know what times the stay will start and end in your initial booking inquiry. We understand that things do come so let us know if you need to extend your stay ASAP so we can try our best to accommodate-we love the extra time with pups. We also always love to know if your best friend has any special requirements like medication, any quirks or habits they have, and also things they do not like. The more facts the better-we want them to be as comfy as possible! Please note: We only accept dogs that are fully potty trained. This means they should make an effort to go outside or indicate when they need to go. Accidents are understandable, especially in new environments. However, dogs that rely on indoor potty pads or frequently go inside without signaling are not allowed. If we notice consistent signs of a lack of potty training, we may need to end the stay early. We are not able to accept dogs over 50lbs due to our building's restrictions. If this is your first time staying with us or using Rover we always send a detailed FAQ with any questions you have and some items you will want to bring.
A typical day
Dogs are welcome to play with our pup, Charlie as well as join us for walks along our calm, tree lined street as well as plenty of local parks.

Hey, thanks for checking out our profile! We've had lots of experience with dogs in so many ways, including boarding, fostering, and specialized care. We have specifically worked with a lot of dogs with special needs including anxiety and senior dog care. If you are a little worried about sending your dog with special needs away with someone, rest assured we have that extra sensitive touch. Please be sure to read all the info on our profile before reaching out to ensure we are a perfect match for you and your pup. We hope to hear from you soon! Our dog: Meet Charlie, our lovely 11-year-old mutt! He's experienced with all kinds of dogs and welcomes guests into his home with open paws. Charlie is a unique mix of American Staffordshire Terrier, Shih Tzu, and Chihuahua, making him extra special. Despite weighing around 45lbs, he enjoys the company of dogs of all sizes, from toy breeds to extra large ones. If your dog isn't very social, we regretfully won't be able to accommodate them. Our place: We have a 2 bedroom apartment in Bed-Stuy close to parks on a very quiet street. We are not able to accept dogs over 50lbs due to our building's restrictions.

Lottie was in wonderful hands with Samuel, his husband, and their boy, Charlie! I had never left my dog for so long but felt very comfortable doing so with these guys. They are very responsive and send reassuring updates. Plus, they have a great yard that I know she loved because she came home in a great mood and fully exhausted! I will absolutely be booking again!
Sam and beau were lifesavers! They were very welcoming from the start. Our little old baby nugget is old and has a bit of ‘honking’ condition, but they were very caring and understanding about it. Very communicative throughout and sent lovely photos daily. Grateful to have them looked after nugget! Will use them again for sure!
Samuel and Beau are fantastic! I was a little nervous as this was my first time leaving my dog with a sitter but they sent updates along with pics/vids throughout Leo’s stay which provided me with a lot of peace of mind. It was clear Leo was having a great time and felt very comfortable! I will absolutely be using them again in the future 😊
