I've been pet sitting since high school (cats, dogs and horses) and have worked with a range of small to large animals. My current clientele includes a senior Beagle with lots to say, 2 mischievous indoor/outdoor cat sisters, an 120 pound mixed-breed run loving dog, and 5 Thoroughbred/Dutch Warmblood and Quarter horse friends among others. I am a self-proclaimed neat freak and professional organizer so your pets and home will receive exceptional care and your home will always be cleaner than when you left it :)

I care for my clients pets by spending days/staying overnights in their homes and/or doing drop-in visits throughout the day. Whether it be medication administration, crating dogs when away for a couple hours or for bedtime, calling outdoor/indoor cats back inside for the night or their daily meals, or giving anxious attachment pets extra love and attention, I pride myself on an exceptional pet care experience. AND as a clean freak and professional organizer, your house will look just as it was when you return or even cleaner!

Sammie has been house sitting and cat sitting for my husband and me for about 3 years. We live in an older home with lots of quirks and we have to leave an extensive list of instructions. One of our cats needs meds twice daily. Both cats are indoor/outdoor with a cat proof fence. But they still require monitoring. Sammie does a great job of managing all of this. I recently left my husband and am going on a trip and I have hired Sammie to stay at my new apartment. What else can I say? She’s fantastic!!!
Sammie is amazing! She is trustworthy, punctual, reliable and incredibly clean—seriously, she leaves your place cleaner than when she found it. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sammie to anyone looking for a dependable sitter. When it comes to pets, she’s attentive, responsible, kind and always makes sure they are happy, safe and well cared for!
Sammie is fantastic!! She is reliable, responsive and so warm with our pup. I never have to worry about our dog when he’s with her - she is super capable and thoughtful with him. Would absolutely recommend!!
Sammie was absolutely wonderful. She took such great care of our dog and treated our home with the same respect she’d give her own. She’s responsible, communicative, and incredibly loving with dogs. We came home to a happy pup and a spotless house. We’d gladly book her again!
Sammie has been caring for my horses while I’m away, feeding and mucking stalls. I can always count on her for updates and great care!
Sammie was our dog sitter from July 2024-July 2025. Unfortunately we had to put our little guy Tommy down this past September, 18 years young! Tommy needed someone with him 24/7. Sammie came to visit and we immediately had connections, Tommy too! Sammie is very flexible and will do whatever is needed to keep your pet safe and happy. She made sure Timmy had food/water when scheduled. No hesitation in giving him meds when needed. No walks for Timmy but hung out in the backyard and on his fav dog bed! Sammie was in top of giving us updates and contacted us if necessary. She will send pictures of your pet if that’s what you want! We did a lot of traveling, short and long trips, never any issues. Tommy eventually warmed up to Sammie, he was shy. Sammie collected mail, put out trash for pickup, even washed her linens and remade the bed!! Excellent care for our dog. Highly recommend! Sammie is a rare find!!!

Schedule
I house/pet sit full time and am currently on the job hunt for fully remote positions as I have been a fully remote worker for the past couple of years. Working remotely has allowed me to spend most of my time at my client's homes during the day and give their pets the attention and care needed while their owners are away. If I am away, it is at most 2-3 hours at a time to go on a run or care for my horse at my barn.
