No Such Thing as a Challenge!

Pet care experience

I’ve never met a cat or dog I haven’t enjoyed being around! We all understand that cats and dogs will all have their individual personality and I love to find and build that trust with any of our feline or canine companions! I work at their pace, never pushing too far to keep the peace, but also make sure they know I’m here to take care of them. My goal is to keep them comfortable and happy in their own home while their humans are out and about! I’ve started working in the animal rescue and veterinary field at the earliest age of 14 years old. I’ve worked with a range of aquatics, to livestock, to your classic cats and dogs, to reptiles! No challenge is ever to big or small for me to accomplish while keeping the peace with your fur baby!

Safety, trust & environment

Depending on your home set up, the boundaries you prefer your pet to have, I can all work with. Whether you crate your dog at home, they have their own room, or they’re free range, that’s no problem! For our feline friends, double checking all troubled areas (like main doorways to the outside, washer/dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator) and verifying a head count on arrival and before leaving every time. I want to ensure the safety and the location of your cats at all times, even if they don’t come out right away. For canines, whether you crate your pets, let them free roam, or they have their own room, their safety will always come first. A head count will be made on arrival and before leaving the premises. If a yard is fenced in, before letting a dog out, the fence will be checked for any possible holes or weak points that may cause a pet to escape. Leashes will be used as needed in those cases. For those without a fence, a leash will be used to ensure everyone’s safety.

Information Sammi F. would like to know about your pet

Any medical condition can be worked with. Depending on the medical condition(s), a thorough explanation or instructions would be requested from the owner to help provide the best care of their pets. If there is any type of reactivity or hard dislikes for your pets, please inform of that as soon as possible to verify the safety and health of your pet and everyone involved.

A typical day

Depending on the dogs activity levels, we can do some play time either inside or outside (weather permitting), with tug of war, fetch, etc. I can also provide “busy toys” or “enrichment toys” which can be (within the owners preferences of diet for their pet) filled with frozen treats to keep them busy for a bit!
