I grew up on a horse farm in upstate New York and have loved animals my whole life. I’ve always had at least one pet at any given time, from cats and dogs, to reptiles and rodents. I currently have a cat, Gracie. I love befriending new critters and getting to know their personalities and quirks! I’ve been pet sitting for family and friends for several years and always go above and beyond to make sure pets feel loved and well cared for while their people are away. I am also open to looking after reptiles, rodents, and fish, price is negotiable depending on what they need.

I am available for drop-in visits. I love playing with and cuddling kitties. I make sure all animals feel loved and safe while I’m looking after them. I am also comfortable caring for some exotic pets. I have experience with reptiles, fish, and some rodents.

Sammi was absolutely incredible with my cats. She went above and beyond for them — she kept me updated every step of the way and did everything she could to ensure my cats were comfortable. She truly cares about their needs; of course this is a job, but I could tell she put effort and love into watching my babies. I’d recommend her to anybody!!!
Sammi was great with my cat for a vacation away with my husband. During our walkthrough, Sammi took careful notes of where everything was and what I wanted for my cat while we were away. Sammi also sent us little updates about our cat and how she was doing during our trip. I would happily and highly recommend Sammi to anyone looking for a pet sitter, and I'll likely be using her again soon!
Sammi was so great at taking care of my cat Kimbo over Thanksgiving! They would go over every day and spend at least an hour refilling his food and water and more importantly spending time with him. Kimbo got along well with Sammi and we received daily photos of how he was doing. I would definitely let Sammi watch my cat again!
Sammi is a reliable and conscientious pet sitter who will go above and beyond to take care of your pets as if they were their own. Your pet will quickly see them as extended family and will feel truly loved and cared for while you are away. Wonderful at accommodating special requests and small details will not go unnoticed. Great communication and loved all the photo updates. Definitely feel safe knowing Sammi is the one looking out for my pet's well being and absolutely my first pick when it comes to the highest quality care.
Sammi is simply THE BEST. They made me feel so at ease while I was away for the holidays. They sent me lots of pictures every day of them and my kitty, Freddie. They played with him until he was exhausted, cudded, and even had a blast with the catnip I left for them :) While Freddie usually has a hard time warming up to new people, he and Sammi were best friends immediately! I felt so safe knowing my little guy was so well cared for over the holidays. Sammi is easily my first preference when it comes to choosing a pet-sitter.

Schedule
I am currently working as a tutor and pet sitter while also spending time on my creative skills and hobbies. I typically have availability in the evening Tue-Fri and afternoon & evening Sat-Mon. I am open to caring for reptiles and rodents as well.
