I can't recommend Samiya highly enough as a pet sitter! She's fantastic with cats, and has additional experience with fish, birds, and bunnies. She's been an animal lover her entire life, genuinely curious about animals, learning their likes, dislikes, and quirks rather than treating them as one-size-fits-all. That attention shows in everything she does. She's fostered numerous kittens, often juggling several at once with different personalities and needs, and has always adapted her home and routine to make sure each one was properly cared for. She's comfortable giving medication, and has managed pets with ongoing health issues like recurrent eye ulcers, pink eye, and urinary tract blockages, so she's not fazed by animals who need extra care. She also has experience bringing in a second kitten to a home that already has a cat. She navigated this with grace, giving both cats attention and taking it slowly to ensure neither cat was stressed. What stands out most is her patience and observation. She once noticed her own cat acting slightly off and caught it early enough to get him proper care. Another time, she noticed her cat liked napping on top of a shelf, so she moved his bed up there; now that's one of his favorite spots. She pays attention in a way that most people don't, and adjusts to what the animal actually wants, not just what's convenient. She's also extremely reliable. She's always on time, and she'll make it a priority to be there for the pet and the owners, as she understands how important pets are in our lives. Owners can expect detailed updates and adorable photos throughout, since she follows instructions closely and communicates well. She goes above and beyond every time, and any cat (or fish, bunny, or bird) in her care would be safe, comfortable, and genuinely looked after.
