Our mornings start with a potty break followed by their medications and breakfast. My dogs are fed twice a day—once in the morning and again in the evening. I work from home a couple of days a week, but our routine stays consistent day to day. They get daily exercise through walks and/or playtime in our fenced-in yard, depending on the weather and their energy levels. Since they’re older, I adjust their feeding schedule as needed to accommodate their changing needs. Evenings are for winding down with another walk or some outdoor playtime. After that, we do treats, grooming (including brushing, paw cleaning, and any nighttime meds), and finish the day with plenty of cuddles.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in yard and share my home with two big fur babies and one little Yorkie. The dogs have free roam of the house, except for any rooms that are kept closed off. We have crates set up and use them as needed for safety or downtime—they’re always available if the situation calls for it. The dogs are monitored with cameras and are rarely left alone for more than five hours at a time between my partner and me. I work from home frequently, so they’re supervised most of the day and kept on a consistent routine. At night, they sleep downstairs where there’s plenty of space for them to spread out or separate if needed.

Information Samira S. would like to know about your pet
It would be really helpful to know a few key details about your pet before we meet. This allows me to set the right expectations and helps ensure your pet is as comfortable and safe as possible in my care. Here’s what I’d love to know: • Medications: What are they currently taking, when, and how do they need to be administered? • Allergies, Disabilities, or Medical Conditions: Please include anything I should be aware of, including dietary restrictions or chronic conditions. • Spayed/Neutered: Are they fixed? • Social Behavior: How do they do around other dogs (or people, if relevant)? Any reactivity or behavioral quirks I should keep an eye on? • General Habits & Behaviors: What’s their usual routine like? Are there any triggers, anxieties, or special comforts they rely on? • Potty Training: If your pet isn’t fully potty trained, that’s okay—just let me know in advance. Puppy pads may need to be provided. Additionally, please provide: • Up-to-date vet records, in case of emergencies • Emergency contact information, including your preferred vet and an alternate contact if you’re unavailable I know it’s a lot of info, but the more I know, the better I can care for your pet! You’re also more than welcome to share details in person if that’s easier.
A typical day
My dogs enjoy a good balance of exercise and relaxation. We go on daily walks, and they love playing both in the house and outside in our fenced-in yard. They also enjoy frequent car rides—perfect for a change of scenery or a quick pup cup run! If your pet enjoys similar activities, they’re more than welcome to join in the fun.

Pet care experience
I’m thrilled to offer dependable, compassionate pet care through Rover. I bring a blend of professional experience in animal husbandry—including care for reptiles, primates, and small animals—and a lifelong love for animals. I also hold UPenn’s Animal Assisted Therapy Certificate, adding depth to my understanding of animal behavior and emotional support. I have experience with administering medications, caring for special needs pets, and providing pet-centered, individualized attention. I’ve personally raised and trained my three adopted dogs, who now do wonderfully with other animals thanks to consistent, positive training. Whether it’s daily visits, walks, or extended care, I’m committed to keeping your pets safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.
Reviews

Samira is literally THE BEST!! She was so proactive in keeping me up to date on my doggie, and very flexible when I wanted to visit. We were in town for the holiday and I realized at the last minute that there was no way I could leave my baby in a kennel. Samira came to the rescue - she walked him every day and let me know how he was eating. Her dogs are so friendly and well-behaved: they got along like brothers! She’ll be our go to every time we’re in the area from now on.

Samira was absolutely amazing with my dog Snooki! She cared for her for a full week while I was going through a tough time and charged a very reasonable fee. She went above and beyond not only keeping Snooki safe and happy, but also bathing her at no extra charge. I could tell Snooki was well loved and cared for the entire time. I’m so grateful for her kindness and the peace of mind she gave me. I would highly recommend Samira to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pets.
