I’ve always had animals around at home, through fostering, and from volunteering at our local shelter, so pet care is just part of my life. I’ve handled everything from goofy, high‑energy pups to shy cats who need a slow, gentle approach. My fiancée worked at the same shelter for years, so I picked up a ton of hands‑on tips from her too. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets like my fiancée’s sister’s Frenchie and Lab, lots of cats with big personalities, and plenty of shelter dogs who just needed a confidence boost. I’m comfortable with shy pets, excited pets, nervous pets, and the ones who need a little extra patience. I’ve also given medication, done enrichment, and helped pets settle in when they’re unsure. Whether your pet wants couch cuddles, a walk, or even a silly dog birthday party (yes, we’ve actually done one), I’m here to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I treat every pet like family.

Samira is just amazing! My fur babies just love her, they even cried when she left. I did not have time to do my dishes before I left and when I came home they were all washed!
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Samira for dog sitting our French Bulldog and Labrador in our home! Leaving our dogs with someone especially our Lab who requires seizure medication 3 times a day — was something we took very seriously. From the moment we met Samira, we felt completely comfortable and confident in her care. Having her stay in our home made such a difference for our dogs. They were able to stay comfortable in their normal environment and routines, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs absolutely adore her and were so happy and relaxed when we returned home. One thing that truly stood out was how experienced and attentive she was with our Labrador’s medication schedule. Giving seizure medication multiple times a day requires consistency and trust, and Samira handled it flawlessly. Knowing our dog was receiving the proper care and attention meant everything to us. She also went above and beyond in every possible way. Not only were the dogs incredibly well cared for, but our house was actually cleaner than when we left! She picked up dog poop, kept everything tidy, and took care of our home with so much respect and attention to detail. Samira is reliable, caring, communicative, and truly loves animals. It is obvious this is more than just dog sitting to her — she genuinely treats your pets as if they are her own. We are so grateful to have found her and honestly would not want to leave our dogs with anyone else. Schedule
I work from home Tuesday–Friday, 8am -8pm which actually makes it easy for me to give pets lots of company and attention throughout the day. I keep a steady routine with time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check‑ins. For house sitting, I do need a spot where I can plug into the home’s modem so I can work smoothly. I bring everything I need (cords, portable desk, equipment) and I have a two‑hour lunch break that gives me plenty of flexibility to drive over, set up, and get settled with your pets. Even while I’m taking calls, I’m still right there with them for cuddles, potty breaks, and keeping them on their usual schedule. My work setup never takes away from the care I give.

In your home, I follow your routine closely so your pet feels secure. In mine, I keep the environment relaxed and predictable so they can settle in easily. My goal is always the same. A stress‑free, loving experience where your pet feels safe.

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about keeping your pet happy and relaxed in a way that fits their personality. For cats I board, that might mean cozy nap spots, wand toys, treat puzzles, or just quiet company if they’re shy. I let them explore and settle in at their own pace. For dogs I walk or visit, we mix in sniff walks, “find it” games, treat puzzles, or a little fetch or tug if they’re into it. If I’m house sitting, I stick to their normal routine with plenty of check‑ins, cuddles, and downtime. No matter the pet, I keep things calm, positive, and comforting so they feel understood and totally at ease.
