For protecting and ensuring safety, as well as trust, for your pets and for you, I have worked diligently to learn dog and cat body language. My goal when working with any pet that's new to me, or ones that I already know, is to ensure they're happy and comfortable. This means listening to you, the pet parent, about what your pet needs and what I can do to ensure your pet is happy as possible while I see them! This also means being aware of the pet's normal versus if they need medical attention and seeking it asap. I'd also like to highlight: I grew up with flat faced dogs, so I am super aware of their extra care needs (wiping those wrinkles down and any eye boogies, cleaning out tail pockets if needed, ensuring they aren't playing to hard so they can breathe, not keeping them outside too long in the heat to avoid overheating faster, extra water all the time!)
