Hi there, fellow pet lovers! I’m Samayyah, a lifelong animal enthusiast who’s been caring for pets since I was 14. Over the years I’ve worn many hats—kennel attendant, doggie day-camp director, dog trainer, and even pharmacy tech at a pet pharmacy. From giving meds to bath time, feeding, and training, I’ve pretty much done it all. I’m also a proud rescue mom to a Pitbull/Mastiff mix. He came to me with a tough past and some fear-aggression, but with patience and love we’ve made amazing progress together. That journey deepened my understanding of dogs with special challenges and reminded me how rewarding it is to help them feel safe and happy. And don’t worry—I haven’t forgotten about our feline friends! I absolutely adore cats and share my home with three beautiful girl cats who rule the house (as cats do). Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or a calm companion visit, I know how to make kitties feel comfortable and cared for too. Whether your pup is a couch cuddler or a high-energy zoomie champion, I can keep up. I’ve cared for as many as 41 dogs at once (yes, really!) and I’m certified in Animal First Aid & CPR. Quick on my feet, calm under pressure, and always ready with treats and belly rubs—that’s me. I’m currently in school, but I’m flexible and happy to work with your schedule. Most of all, I promise to treat your furry family member like my own, making sure they’re loved, healthy, and having fun while you’re away. I do not board in my home, but when I am attending to client's pets in their home, I make sure I have the pet's schedule to follow. I treat clients' animals as if they were my own!

Sam was outstanding!!!!! She stayed with our dog for 2 weeks and did everything we asked of her. She’s kind, patient and an overall sweet individual. It was so nice to be able to go away and feel relaxed about leaving our pet. Highly recommend!!!

Sam was amazing! From the moment we met her we felt very comfortable leaving our pups in her care. The boys loved her too! She has helped us out a few times now and each time the boys see her you can tell how excited they are that she came back for another visit. Her experience with dogs is obvious in the way she interacts with them. She is also very affectionate and attentive to the boys. Happy we found her on Rover!
Samayyah was great with Paris. She made her feel comfortable and took care of my dog as if she were her own. Samayyah played with her after her walk and made sure Paris felt loved. I appreciated the fact that she accepted my booking at the last minute. Also, I can tell that she takes this very seriously and is not just doing it for some extra money. She really loves animals and it shows!
Let me preface my testimonial by saying that my beloved Golden Retrievers ARE my family. I’m not embarrassed to say that I love them more than the people in my life. Vacations are far and few between. If I can’t take my Goldens, then I simply don’t go. I have known Sammy for well over a year now. My babies love her…! Sammy is dedicated, loving, patient, caring, responsible, protective, active… all the qualities you’d want in a pet sitter. I trust Sammy immensely with my three “fur-children”. Sammy has a rare, special gift when it comes to animals. Some sitters may love animals, but Sammy goes beyond that. Anyone can feed your pets when you’re away; and yes, they can make sure they go out to relieve themselves. But Sammy interacts with my dogs, plays with them, entertains them if you will. I have peace of mind when my Goldens are in her care…I recommend Sammy highly…!

Schedule
I am currently going to school during the fall and spring semester. This allows my schedule to be very flexible for pet parents’ fur babies.
