I’ve always been the person my family and friends went to and trusted to watch after their furry ones while they were away. I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of who I am. I currently have five pets of my own: three cats and two dogs, and they truly mean everything to me. Because of them, I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets like family. During my junior and senior years of high school, I attended Harkness BOCES for Animal Science, where I gained hands-on experience in grooming, safe handling and restraint, CPR, medication administration, and understanding animal behavior, along with many other essential skills. I’m currently continuing my education in animal health and behavior to build a career dedicated to caring for animals and being their voice. I’m comfortable administering medications as needed and have experience working with pets of all ages, sizes, and breeds. Whether your pet needs extra patience, playtime, or specialized care, I’m here to provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I take the responsibility of caring for someone’s pet and home very seriously, and I will always follow the owner’s instructions, routines, and any specific safety precautions they have in place. Whether that means crating a pet at night, keeping them securely leashed during walks, supervising outdoor playtime, following feeding instructions, or administering medications as directed, I make sure their needs are met. I also respect each client’s home and do my best to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for their pets. I want every owner to feel confident and at ease knowing their pets are receiving the same love, patience, and attention I would give my own!

When you have old animals, you know that things can go bad unexpectedly, and you want to make sure your sitter can handle it. That is why we always go with Samara. Her background and seriousness are what attracted us to her in the first place and her behavior and follow-up during the sittings are what get us to come back to her time and time again.
Once again Samara did an awesome job taking care of our 4 fur babies! They love her! She does a great job communicating with us, sends us pictures, and cleaned up for us, even though she didn’t have to. Thank you Samara!
Just finished a 2 week house-sitting booking with Samara for our cat and our 2 (very) elderly dogs. We always use Samara for these long vacation trips as she does a great job of taking care of the animals, especially as they require a lot of care as they are getting older, along with keeping the house in tip top shape.
Always feel very comfortable leaving Samara stay at our house to take care of our cat and elderly dog when we are going away.
Samara was really great with our dog. I would highly recommend her. She also sent lots of updates and photos which helped me feel connected and secure.
Samara was very good with benny and keeping nala company!! She sent pictures of my babies while we were away and kept us informed about how they were doing ! We will definitely be using her services again !! :)

Schedule
I am currently a full-time college student, so my schedule is flexible and allows me to dedicate plenty of time to pet care. Animal care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I make it a priority to work around each pet's individual needs and routine. I am happy to coordinate schedules with pet owners to ensure their pets receive reliable care, attention, exercise, and plenty of love while they are away!

- I would love to know anything important about your pet ahead of time so I can provide the best care possible and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Every pet has their own personality, preferences, and needs, so knowing these details helps me understand how to care for them properly. Please let me know if your pet experiences anxiety, is shy around new people, has food or toy guarding behaviors, has any fears or triggers, or needs any special accommodations. I'd also appreciate knowing their daily routines, including feeding times, bathroom schedules, medications, and any other specific instructions. For walks, it is helpful to know how they typically react to other dogs, people, loud noises, or unfamiliar situations. The more I know about your pet beforehand, the better I can prepare to keep them safe, happy, and comfortable. I want you to feel confident that your pet is in caring, capable hands!
