Hi, I'm Sam! I grew up with pets my whole life — birds first, then dogs — so caring for animals has always felt like second nature to me. I've been dog walking and sitting since 2022, and I also sit for cats. I'm comfortable administering medication when needed too. I work a hybrid schedule, so on weekdays I'm typically out of the house for a few hours during the day — your pet's routine (feeding, walks, downtime) stays consistent around that. I'm very communicative before and during every stay, and I want to know exactly what your pet needs to make sure they're comfortable while you're away. Your pet's comfort and safety are my top priority, and I love building an ongoing relationship with the pets I care for. I’d love to meet you and your pup (or pets!) soon.

I am very very receptive to the needs/wants of the owner of the dog/cat and am also quite good at judging when furry friends are unhappy or stressed. I will be certain to follow the owner’s instructions and reach out if anything is unclear!

Sam was legit amazing. One if my dogs developed an issue while she was there (entirely unrelated to her stay) and she handled it flawlessly. He was throwing up, not eating, etc and not only did she alert me right away, but she monitored him closely throughout the day while keeping me regularly updated with detailed information. She helpfully coordinated with my emergency contact to get Rudy taken to the animal hospital and then remained very flexible as I adjusted my travel to come home early. Her communication was excellent, she was very respectful of my home (couldn't even tell someone had been there) and my pups loved her. I would 10000% hire her again.

Schedule
I currently work a flexible hybrid schedule, so I have plenty of time to dedicate towards giving your furry friend the love and attention they want and need!

- Let me know (to the best of your ability) what some things are that you would consider normal/abnormal for you dog! If they have loose poops often, how frequently they pee on walks, etc! This will make it easy for me to tell if something is off!
