Hi, my name is Sam! With a lifelong passion for animal care, I have cared for many foster and rescue dogs, including my 10-year-old terrier mix, the Dude, whom I adopted at age 1, and my 16-year-old min pin, GIR, who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2023. My dedication to animals drives me to provide reliable and loving care for your pets. Throughout my adult life, I've had the pleasure of caring for many rescue and foster dogs, a snake, a rat, a hamster, and 5 ferrets. I've volunteered at my local animal shelter, socializing dogs and working with adoption outreach programs. I worked as a kennel tech at West Alabama Animal Clinic in Houston, caring for boarded dogs and cats. I worked to keep the animals safe and in a clean environment while also helping the vet techs with sick animals. I've volunteered at the Austin Wildlife Center, caring for small mammals like opossums and squirrels, as well as injured birds that came through the intake center. Needless to say, I love animals. And I'll show that much care and more with your pups when they're in my care.
