I have always had pets. From dogs, cats, and hamsters, to horses, goats, and tortoises — there have always been animals in my life. I have raised one cat and three dogs and they are both so important to me. I have been sitting on Rover since 2022 and have had the pleasure of working with many loving pet parents and their sweet cats and dogs. Working through Rover has been such a fun experience while in grad school that I’m continuing even after graduation and licensure! In addition to my tenure of pet care, I have attended over 30 hours of training classes with my own pups, including virtual courses (where I learned how to teach my dogs to sniff out hidden treats in the house or yard—they love this game!) so I have a good knowledge base of the most up-to-date rewards-based dog training strategies. I’m willing to brainstorm ideas with you and offer resources and recommendations! I’m kind of a nerd about this stuff, and I will also geek out about different dog breeds. 😅 I know firsthand how nerve wracking it can be to leave a pet behind while on vacation or even just day to day. That’s why I take my responsibility as your pet sitter very seriously. Because of my many years of experience with pets, I know what to watch out for and how to provide a safe and healthy environment for all animals. If you need me to bring in your mail or turn off any light you may have left on, you can count on me! Not only am I there to care for your pet and give them attention, I will also make sure your home is secure and ready for you to return. I will always have your and your pet’s well-being in mind.
