We moved to Cherry Valley 2 years ago. I am a dog mom of two sweet and passive poodle mix girls (no children). I work full-time online as a college professor so I am home with my dogs during the day. I have a doctorate in Teaching and Learning, MA in Educational Leadership, and a BA in English. I used to be a k-12 classroom teacher before teaching college online full-time. I am am passionate about animals. I have a large fenced yard. My neighborhood is quiet and pedestrian friendly. I love all dogs! I’m used to caring for dogs from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience with insulin dependent pups and deaf dogs. I love chihuahuas to mastiffs. I promise your dog will get the very best love, attention, care, and endless fun!

I almost don't want to leave a review because I don't want everyone finding out what an amazing dog caregiver Samantha is! I cannot rave enough about her communication, competency, and genuine love of animals. I had zero anxiety leaving my dog child with her. I'm actually excited to plan trips again knowing that Riesling has a safe and comfortable place to be.
Samantha did a wonderful job with our dogs. We greatly appreciate her accepting our SUPER last minute booking. She sent frequent updates with how our dogs were doing. They returned home happy and relaxed. She treated our dog like her own. We would definitely plan to rebook with Samantha on our next trip with not such a last minute request.
Honestly the best host we have had for our girls! Samantha is very kind and responsive. She has a beautiful and very clean home. Would highly recommend!
Sam and her husband went above and beyond all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived at their beautiful home they were so kind and welcoming to both myself and my dog daisy. Within less than 30 minutes of my leaving Daisy I received a picture of her all cuddled up in a dog bed, with a blanket, a toy and a treat, Daisy was not only treated like royalty she was also treated with love, and I can not thank them enough for taking such amazing care of my baby

Schedule
My dogs are used to me being home all day. I never leave the house for more than an hour or two, and that is typically on weekends or in the evening. My dogs are very secure and spoiled by my attention, and yours will be, too!

My two sweet female dogs are both spayed and are very friendly to other dogs and people. Prior to moving to IL, I fostered dogs and watched other animals on Rover.

A typical day
We will have tons of outdoor play, walks, indoor play and loads of my undivided attention and love. We have plenty of indoor and outdoor toys, large and small pet beds, and a lot of love to go around.
