I work a full time job during the week. Currently, I’m working 2nd shift (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm) and I get every other weekend off. I do work first shift on the weekend that I work (7 am to 3:30 pm). So, it might be a little tricky just depending on your animals schedules and individual needs! I’m willing to work around whatever I can but just want you to be you aware of that!

I let the animals decide what to do and when. I accommodate them on their schedules, with respect to the owners requests. I like to keep them engaged whether that’s playing or “loving” time, if they’re up for either.

I like to know about any medications, if they’re special needs, and of course their feeding/bathroom schedule. It’s helpful to know if they’re get along with others animals, how they do on walks, and how they do with strangers. Feel free to inform me of anything you think I should know to best care for your fur baby!!
A typical day
I take daily walks so they can always tag along, if they do well with walks. We can play with their toys whether it’s fetch, tug a war, etc. If they’re “low key” and like to relax, then that is okay too!

I have been a pet owner myself for years. I have years of experience pet sitting, typically dogs, for family, friends, and a few clients through Rover.

We had a great experience with Samantha watching our dog, Lexi, for the weekend. She took the time to meet us and Lexi beforehand, and Lexi warmed up to her right away, which gave us a lot of confidence. Throughout the weekend, Samantha kept us updated with messages and photos each evening, so we always knew Lexi was doing well. She took great care of her, made sure she got out for a walk, and was very respectful of our home while we were away. We would absolutely recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy pet sitter!
