I’ve been caring for dogs from a young age, starting with my sweet Golden Retriever, Haley, and helping care for dogs throughout my neighborhood. Dogs have continued to be a big part of my life, both personally and professionally. I’m trained as a facility dog handler, working alongside a dog whose calm presence brings comfort to others, and I’m also the proud owner of a pretty anxious pup who has taught me so much about patience, boundaries, communication, and recognizing individual needs. These experiences have given me a strong understanding of dog body language and the importance of helping each dog feel safe and comfortable. I know not every dog will greet a new person with a wagging tail right away - and that’s completely okay! I’m happy to give them the time and space they need to build trust at their own pace. Whether your pup is playful and energetic, shy and nervous, or somewhere in between, I’ll meet them where they are and provide plenty of patience, attention, and TLC. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, and cared for, and for you to have peace of mind while you’re away.
