With over 25 years of pet care experience, I have a lifelong passion for animals. I grew up surrounded by pets and have cared for many throughout my life. In recent years, I’ve also served as a foster parent for cats and kittens, gaining extensive hands-on knowledge in feline care, including administering medications both orally and by injection when needed. I’m a single mother to my 7-year-old son, lovingly nicknamed the “cat whisperer,” who shares my deep love for animals and enjoys gently playing with our furry guests. I run my own business from home and homeschool my son, which means we are true homebodies — your pets will receive plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. Our home is thoughtfully set up to be a safe and enriching environment for cats and dogs, with multiple scratching posts, cozy hiding spaces, and comfortable beds for rest and relaxation. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and we take pride in maintaining exceptionally clean litter boxes and living spaces to ensure a healthy, stress-free environment for your pet. We only consider hosting dogs in our home if the dog currently lives with a cat. Having cats myself I would never risk taking in a dog who is not fully adapted to cats. Safety is most important to protect my cats and yours. We absolutely love caring for dogs as well through dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits. I look forward to providing exceptional care for your pet so they feel comfortable, loved, and right at home while you’re away.

We were able to book with Samatha last minute and I couldn’t think of a better person to watch our kittens. They were so spoiled and comfortable in her care. She was great about updating us and sending lots of cute pictures. I would definitely recommend.
Samantha was an amazing sitter for my two cats. She texted daily updates, kept them in their own bedroom away from any other pets, slowly introduced everyone to each other and gave them the option to feel safe enough to roam around her entire house. She responds very quickly and is a great communicator. She was also great at handling behavioral issues and anxiety that my cats had, I highly recommend her!
Samantha did an excellent job looking after our cat. She took the time to properly get to him and give him the space to explore when he wanted. She was great with providing updates and making sure that our cat was fully taken care of!

Schedule
I work from home and run my own business, which gives me a flexible schedule. Additionally, I homeschool my son, so we’re able to care for and spend quality time with animals throughout the day. Your pets will receive plenty of love and attention while in our care.

A typical day
I have a joyful and engaging approach to interacting with my animals. We play with kittens in many fun ways, using a variety of toys to keep them entertained and stimulated. My son loves to join in, using sticks with feathers and jingle bells to create exciting playtime experiences. We also enjoy using stimulating snack toys that challenge the kittens and encourage their natural instincts. Our playtime is filled with laughter and energy, fostering strong bonds with our furry friends.
