I am currently very free to spend time with your pet! I am available beginning around 9AM, possibly earlier if needed and discussed in more detail, until around 6PM, also flexible if discussed further. I am ready and excited to give your pets the best loving care throughout the day!

In the client’s home, I can make at least 3 if not more daily check-ins and I will stay for at least 30 minutes during each check-in. Over the weekend, I generally am home unless I am running errands. I pay close attention to the pet’s needs and behavior to try to always make sure they are attended to and taken care of.

Information Samantha W. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know of any prior and/or ongoing health conditions and medications (no matter how unimportant they may seem), any sort of reactivity to dogs, cats, or other animals and any sort of resource guarding or stranger danger behavior ahead of time. I also would prefer to know if they are crate trained and how many times per day they need to go outside as well as if they bark.
A typical day
With pups, I can do enrichment activities such as ball and toy play, puzzle play, water play if allowed by the owner, and more. With cats, I will provide all the enrichment they may need or want! Because cat behavior can be (and most of the time is) much different than dog behavior, I can adjust accordingly. If your cat is cuddly, we can spend a lot of time getting cuddles and chin scratches. If your cat loves to play, then we will bring out the toys! I am here to provide the utmost support and care for your pet.

I have worked as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital that also administers emergency care. Because of this, I am very knowledgeable and experienced in medication administration, animal behavior, animal nutrition, emergency care, CPR, and all around animal care. I have owned many animals such as dogs, cats, chickens, a tortoise, and a bird. I also have been around many other animals as well having grown up in a small town with agriculture and having worked at a farm and a pet boarding facility. I have always loved animals and plan to become a veterinarian or RVT one day, caring for any and every animal I can.

I can’t think of a better person to entrust with a furry loved one. She grew up around animals, is CPR trained, has life guard experience, currently works as a Vet Tech and loves animals. She is reliable, honest and enjoys spending her free time playing with dogs. As a Cal Poly student, she is focused on learning and enjoys a small town, rural atmosphere.
