Pet care experience

All breeds welcome! No restrictions

*** NOTICE *** ALL dogs MUST be LEASHED when entering and exiting the property. No exceptions and no excuses. ----------------------- I work from home and devote all my time to caring for my pets, including others. All dogs are welcome, even those that might come with a higher level of needs such as elderly with medications or even those with behavioral problems. All care is 100% one on one, ensuring that every dog gets the personalized care that they need and deserve.  We live in a 3 bedroom house with a few small fenced areas but mostly country farm and room to run on leash! Larger fenced areas coming shortly if things go well here. We pride ourselves in keeping everything clean, fresh, and tidy. Even with the many dogs that come through every week! Most dogs are not kenneled when here, however if your dog has anxiety when alone, is destructive, or still housebreaking then crates are available. The dogs are kept in groups and personalities matched, not necessarily size. If requested then your dog(s) can also be kept away from all others. We have plenty of space and rotate groups so everyone gets to be involved.  When we leave the house I do kennel or separate dogs in the house. I don't leave any dogs together just as a precaution. You never know what can happen! Although they typically aren't alone even when I'm gone, and if no one is home its never for long.  I stay pretty busy and there are always dogs here. So if you are uncomfortable with other dogs being in the house or with your dog being around other dogs, then this might not be the best fit for you. Also keep in mind that even though there are other dogs, your dog is NOT required to get along with every dog here. I don't push dogs together for the sake of being together, and if your dog is too nervous, shy, over excited, or anxious then I can make them more comfortable away from the stress of others. Dogs are always given some time to settle in and adjust before being introduced to another dog. This also gives me some time to judge your dogs character and personality in order to best match them in a group or with other dogs.  We all have a lot of fun here and I hope to see you and your little fur baby soon!  ------------------------------------------------------ MEET AND GREET REQUIRED FOR ALL BOOKINGS. No bookings will be accepted without a meet and greet, even if they are last minute.  Drop off and pick up hours for overnight and daycare guests is Mon-Sun 6AM-9PM ***IMPORTANT*** Pick ups for overnight guests on the last day after 1PM will have an additional daycare cost of $15 per dog added to their bill.  Holidays: The Holiday rate is $35 per dog per day. NO discounts are given over Holidays.  I DO NOT OFFER A SMALL DOG DISCOUNT. I do not base my price on the size of the dog but on the quality of care.  There is NO discount for any traveling rate including the nightly rate, checkup rate, dog walking rate, and the pick up/drop off rate.  ------------------------------------------------------ When dropping off your pet for an overnight stay there are a few things you'll need to bring.  - Enough food for your pet to last the length of the stay  - Food bowl  - Any medications - Leash (NO RETRACTABLE LEADS) - Collar with tags (including name and number on tags) - Copy of current vet records  ALL dogs must be current on flea/tick preventative AND have been dewormed in the past 3 weeks before coming for a stay. If worms or fleas are found the owner will be required to get appropriate treatment before the pet is allowed to return. If found to have worms, a veterinarian must provide written letter giving clean bill of health and date/results of last fecal test must be provided.  ***Important note about collars*** ALL dogs MUST have a collar with tags attached to it. Those tags MUST have an up to date phone number on them. If your dog uses a harness or any other type of removable collar they MUST ALSO have a collar present around their neck at all times, even if tags are present on the harness. Collar must also be properly fitted. If it slides over the dogs head then it must be adjusted. Dogs without tags or collar are to the owners risk. I've never lost a dog or had one escape the yard, hopefully I never will, but the tags and collar make identification easier. I typically take harnesses off when inside or in the yard. So if your dog isn't wearing a collar with tags they have NO identification.  We accept intact dogs at an adjusted rate. Please message me for more info. ------------------------------------------------------ **Disclaimer** This is a lot of information. Some people might find it a bit much, however if you care about your dog(s) as much as I care about mine, then you understand the necessity of it all. All information is in place to help you, prepare you for their stay, and keep your dogs safe and comfortable while here. ------------------------------------------------------ *****Health Notice***** If your dog is vomiting, has bad diarrhea, or seems lethargic please KEEP THEM HOME. If your dog is exhibing any of the above symptoms while here they will be quarantined and sent home immediately and if that's not possible your emergency contact will be notified as well as Rover and an alternative sitter with no dogs will be found immediately. Vet care will be provided if not picked up in a timely manner.

Samantha was amazing with Scooter! She cared for him and even gave him a bath before he came home to us. We will definitely use her in the future!

My two pups had a great stay with Samantha while my husband and I had to go out of town at the last minute for a few days. We were first time Rover users and were nervous, but were immediately put to ease during our meet and greet. The dogs did great under Samantha’s watch. We will continue to use Samantha when we need someone to watch our fur babies.

I was here for a family event, and needed someone to take my dog for the day. Samantha was available and had space and did a great job taking care of my little Zoey?!
